It is only possible to make systems that guarantee multiple lower tier prizes.

It is not considered useful to make a system that guarantees multiple jackpots because all 5 or 6 number combinations would have to be repeated as many times as you wanted the jackpot won and of course they would simply become shares in the single jackpot amount. Doesn't help if you are the only winner, provides a larger share if there are multiple winners besides you.

You can't copyright a system or a method for doing something. The only thing a copyright would do is prohibit somebody from taking your written description of the system and using it verbatim. unlike other wheels the wheel i created 10 years ago will get 2 or 3 jackpots out of 5...It will get like 5 to 6 jackpots out of 10....

You can substantially reduce the number of combinations by equally increasing the risk. Getting lucky is not the same as a 100% closed cover wheel design that covers every possible outcome with a prize guarantee.

The moment you touch that closed cover, remove a line, the 100% is gone and you now have something less.

my wheel was 87% successful for the 5/5...I did it by filtering...Now lotterywheelsdotcom got a wheel that is size 20 and gives you only 2, 4/5 and it comes out to be like 2,100 tickets...Now which one is better mines or lotterywheel's....I thought so....And you know how i did it? by not listening to anyone and trusting in myself....and that was only 2,200 tickets imagine now 10,000 tickets or 20,000 tickets...Imagine how large i could make it....

It's not like they have to know the prediction is spreading all the numbers across all players....

But if you do that someone may one day wonder and they'll cal the FBI on you or something...

It would only take a few of them a few sets of drawings and talking to each other to figure out they were getting different sets of numbers; or showing up at a forum asking about the method.

The second thing is some people will be on their second or third win before others have gotten their first win; you can't keep the rate of wins even across all the players (because you don't know which sets will be winners, in advance).

Playing Devil's Advocate there really is no such thing as a lottery system . That would suggest there is a method to the madness when in reality it's just glorified guesswork. I think the proper term should be lottery theory . If you are hitting numbers every day that's a system. If not, it's merely a theory. Just my two cents worth.

One thing I've said before and will no doubt say again . . . is every draw has at least one long shot that will break any filter system that does not include some long shots in making up the combinations.

The trouble with getting something like this started is writing a promise check you can't cash. If you start with Pick-3/4, pooling the numbers among players, you can work up to a happy customer base to promote the next step to. It's not like they have to know the prediction is spreading... Aside from the challenge of sending all the e-mails (you have a program?) and avoiding duplicate tickets, is the challenge of the winning #s being within 20K combinations 85% of the time . I'd love to see a backtest showing sets of n numbers that contain the winners that often. Best way to drum up menbers is to show (for free, for a while) the set of numbers to pick from, and then the result, for several drawings.

players are not going to play the same numbers, different numbers....No 2 players will get the same numbers....

If you want to get to the 10,000 or 20,000 ticket marks you can START by filtering...

but i don't know how it will work for Pick5 because pick5 is played everyday and that limits you the time to filter, then get the results then email it to 500 or 1,000 people and then waiting for the 1,000 or 500 members/subscribers to execute the plan and play the numbers....Is a long proces an... Actually a state like California would have no problems with such a situation since all its lottery game payouts are pari-mutual but the person with such a system would eliminate his chances to win a large prize if he did win and a lot of other players played the same numbers. If such occurrences became common, I suppose all the other states would do as California does now rather than having a fixed amount for all lower tier prizes. this does not work on PIck3 or Pick4...It only works on Pick5 and Pick6 and Powerball..But only if you have a system...If you don't have a system then it is pooling...is kind of fussy the line because if you use the 210 wheel for Pick4, then it is not a prediction website is more like pooling...

@diamondpalace: There's an old stock con where the scammer successfully predicts the direction of 4 stocks in a row, and scams the mark on the 5th pick. Similar rip-offs have been adapted to lotteries, but the take is much smaller.

Situation 1: I would rather they make a profit by WINNING with it. The trick would be to release it with copyright that you cannot charge a fee for it. Then you could sue them. However if someone were WINNING then a simple Thank You would be nice, and then I'd be using it to win myself!

2) Hmmm maybe tell them to kick you down some royaltys....but its hard to tell them what to do with it since they bought it from you unless you copyright rights on it. On the other hand most of all programs get copyied , downloaded and transfured to people one way or another so its hard to say.

Setting up, running and supporting a website is a lot of work and winning a lottery is suppose to make life easier. If I won a lottery and thought I could do it again, I would have no interest in getting other lottery players money by having a website that sells a lottery system or service. Buying a few lottery tickets would be easier.

Should I be fortunate to create a program that reduced the odds of winning any lottery and actually won a jackpot, I would be more interested in winning another jackpot than setting up a website to sell it. If a program could really help win a lottery jackpot, you would have to sell a lot of copies before you could make as much as one jackpot is worth, that's the reason no such program will ever be for sale.

Regarding #1) Contact that guy, explain the situation and let him know that you can sue him. And then offer him to become your agent and sell this stuff on your behalf. He would be doing exactly what he is doing, but paying you royalties.

Copyrights and patents are not worth the paper they are printed on when it comes to that one thief acting alone. He doesn t care about law or ethics. Stopping him will be next to impossible. Unless you put him in a place where he can no longer benefit from your work, he will continue to rip you off regardless of the law, the courts, or you.

Just a small bit of advice. Copyright's only go so far. The best thing to do would be to patent your system but I hear this is very expensive. If you have a patent then you can sue the pants off the thief but not so much with a copyright. There will always be someone just waiting in the wings to steal your ideas, a sad but true fact of life. While you are working on the copywrite/patent application, here is a quick short hand method that will afford legal protection that is admissible in court:

Write up your program in detail, l double space, notorize the letter, safety seal the packet and mail back to yourself via registered mail. If you want control of your work, copyright it. That way if you give it away or sell it you have control and others can't distribute it without your permission.

There use to be a member who put other members ideas into an inter-active e-book and sold them but he tried using his LP posts to advertise them and his membership was ended.

The problem with discussing or sharing ideas at LP is they are in the public domain and it's hard for anyone to claim ownership of them.
