Since the matrix changed to 5/56 on 06/24/05 the sums of the 5 MegaMillions numbers have varied from 55 to 238.

FRI 07/04/08 - 01 03 12 19 20 +28 =55

TUE 08/07/07 - 36 41 50 55 56 +09 =238

TUE 08/22/06 - 03 04 05 07 36 +16 =55

I realized that I had worded that wrong after I posted it, but no one was responding anyway, so I didn't bother to change it. I meant the total of all the numbers in the line.

Most recently, Mega Millions came out with numbers that, when combined, totaled over 235. I wanted to know what was the highest ever combined total? (still don't know if I'm wording that right.) I had a certain total in mind and was wondering if it were even possible to reach it within the... [ More ]
