With an upgraded membership you could use the delate 3 system here at Lottery post. May need to sort the numbers as I do not know if there is a str8 only option in the deflate 3.

If not a str8 only option maybe Todd could add it to the deflate 3.

I see from another post that you are using excel. do you know how to load and run a macro? do you do any programing?? Your immediate objective was to eliminate duplicates from a workout. is this series of numbers always in the same location?

A few stats.

First I am not clear what is behind the 317 list. However in tests on a few states some stats surfaced:

1. A year of draws eliminates less than 1/3 (approx 100) of the list, leaving some 220 numbers

2. Two years eliminates appox 173 leaving approx 144 numbers.

I found it easiest to eliminate last digit position for the up coming draws... so 123.. elim 1 from first position, 2 from middle and 3 from end position, then keep only they rest that have a 1-2-3 in the other positions.

Elim doubles unless a double is due. and all triples.

Then go back in your history and find the recent 1000 draws and subtract them from the 317 sets you reduced to. Use the flast7 tool to do this... should give you about 120 sets.. not 250.

I just downloaded that Flast7 program it can also work without Lotsoft.

You can paste a source of numbers on it, then enter the last past draw on it and then paste the straights to eliminate, that is the strraights that you want to filter out from the source of numbers, then click on create output.

That is all.

If you want to you can also enter pairs on it and any numbers from the source that have any of those pairs on them will be filtered out.

Then you can copy whatever numbers are... [ More ]

This is a very good method, you have to be careful and not use too many filters. Here are the stats for a digit repeating in Fla Mid. This is for any position. The False means no repeats, any position and the most it has skipped is 5 draws.

Ricky created this tool for me.

I wanted to use something where I could enter in the last 7 days draws and have it determine a set of numbers,,, usually around 250 of them.

What I ended up doing is using it as a tool to reduce a bunch of numbers like 317 sets to 120 sets by entering previously called numbers and so on.

i used ky as a history file and Win D 317 numbers. it does what its designed to do. the first 4 #'s in col C using my data were the same as col B because they had not hit in last 500 games. after that it skipped 1 or more . I ended up with 181 unhit combinations

Predicto I copied and pasted Win D's numbers . my system put all the #'s in 1 row. I'm sure Excel has a method to change that to columns, but since i'm not familiar with that function i just wrote a vba to move the data from row to co... [ More ]

since you all seem to be having the same wrong results I have to assume there is a problem with my code. I tested it before I posted it,with just a few #'s and it worked as expected . I will set up a larger file to verify it and get back to you all.

Thanks for creating the macro, but I think it's not working right. In Col A are the draws, 721 of them; in Col B are the 317 combos. When I run the macro and enter 721 in the window, I get the same 317 combos in Col C. Am I missing something

the purpose of this code was to compare the value in col B to the values in col A and put any value from col B that did not have a matching number in col A in col C. a number in col C only indicates it was not found exact order in col A.

the value in the input window tell the program how many of the numbers in col A to look at. your choice 30 days or 300 or more

can you cut and paste Win D's list? you should be able to since he did have a comma between each number. I would copy... [ More ]

Well then ....if wewheel just the single numbers that have one of the three digits from the last draw each day ........and just use just those single numbers ....... it will ALWAYS.....give us just 527 straights back.

Click on where it say Picks then on Load Picks (import them).

Then on Filters pick the Repeat Filters then on Straight from Last.. Enter here from 100 past numbers up-to the complete history of picks.

Since I am not very informed on VBA, could you help me with understanding what I'm seeing or if I messed up with the sequence order.

Column A --Took the draws for Georgia Evening game from Jan. 1, 2008 thru today. This gave me 504 rows in Column A.

Column B - Took 225 numbers and placed them in Column B.

The second more advanced Crunch (Crunch 2) can also do it.

On the left were it says Commands pick AddList:

Then on the right were it says Filter selections pick Numbers

You now will have: AddList:Numbers

Now there PASTE your list of 300 + or 500 or what ever amount of source numbers.

Next:

On Commands pick:

SubtractList:

Now on Filter Selections pick:

Numbers

Now you will have:

SubtractList:Numbers

Let us start with P34 Lotto

It has a box-option on top, it is called Lines , click on it, then go to the Import Lines option.

It will let you import pick 3 numbers into the program to be used as a Source of numbers then you can apply filters to it.

Go to the Filters box-option on top, then click on it, then click on Past Draws then put a check mark on Draw then on the Don't allow draws from past........... number of draws enter the number of past draws to not allow.

As an after thought.

P34 Lotto can substract the past history of numbers also, it is up to you how many draws you want to substract, but I can't remember if it lets you load your own picks into it or not, to use them as source numbers, last I used many years ago.

Another possible program for this might be the LottoMatrix3 program, I think, but it has been so many years, that I can't recal for sure.

It has been a very long time since I have used the Crunch, by MikeK so I am not sure if it can do as you want or not, maybe the first original Crunch can do the substraction and the second one has some good filters on it, but as I am not sure if it can really do as you need, a better bet is to talk to Ricky again and have him update whatever it was that he did for you before.

I don't think I explained this method to Ricky very well several months ago ....because we did end up with a Lotsoft history filter tool.....that could be used in a limited way but not this way. It didn't include doubles filters or other needed filters needed to pull this off. Subtracting from the 317 using specific state history.... and doing it with POSTIONAL filters at the same time. Ideal would be a combination of postional filters along with the Short Sums chart tool... [ More ]

Ricky could easily add that option to his LotSoft wheeler if He wanted to, but it would have to be the one on the commercial version, not on the freeone, as that-one does not have a past draws database, it could be done also on that one, but with more trouble, the past winning numbers would need to be copied and pasted.

There is already another way, but for that one you need to talk to MikeK about it.

Sounds good to me..... A VBA program would be great.

Column A .... Could be the state History ...or Historical list of Straights ...which could be 365 or 1000 of the past draws. ( so this Column list will be variable)

Column B ...could be the 317 ....which will almost always be the same amount each day. Perhaps we should set that array for 500 numbers ....just in case we need it in the future.

if I can assume that your history file and this group of numbers are in Excel, then a VBA program would be fairly easy, a couple of loops and compare. stick this # in a third column if not found in previous history, number of days to check could be user specified. if interested in a VBA solution tell me what column or columns different data is in and where do you want the results to go. will there always be 317 numbers?
