(The sites are up now.)<br /><br />That was not an error related to volume, and the Powerball site rarely succumbs to volume, even when the jackpot is at record levels. That&#x27;s because it is a simple static web site, unlike something like Lottery Post, which has an enormous amount of processing that takes place for every single page view. If that turns out to be the case, you&#x27;d think that with so many sites sharing a common platform, there would be some redundancy to handle a server going down.</p>]]></description>
