Strange dreams , Need help please

I have had two very strange dreams past week , both with stairways in them . Would appreciate any help to know what this is about .

1st dream I was looking down a stairway at a cat with kittens , 2nd dream I was looking up a stairway after I awoke hearing a burgler in the house .

If you have a book about dream meanings for stairways I would love to know what all this means , and numbers too if you have them . Thanks in advance
