Mega Millions is really an all or nothing game because of the low payoffs on the secondary prizes. Even winning $150 just keeps you in the game a little bit longer. I rarely played it, preferring Rolling Cash 5 and Ten-Oh because I could at least cash a ticket. I've played some Powerball after I move to Kentucky because of the power play option, but at $2 a ticket I can't be playing very large wheels.

When I apply filters to all numbers abbreviated wheels I usually lose the win guarantee because the filters apply to all 6 numbers but not to the 3, 4, or 5 numbers I'm trying to match. The better way would probably be to first apply the filters to all the combinations and then extract all the combinations with the 3 if 6 guarantee from that. Matching 3 only pays $2 so if the idea is to use all 49 numbers, a smaller combination 2 if 6 of 49 might be a better starting point.

You can wheel all 49 numbers in 163 lines and be guaranteed a match3 If you could manipulate those lines such that all 163 combinations were within the parameters of 80% of the past winning numbers without changing the guarantee then you might have a plan.

Maybe you are right I just read your Post, again, Now I do use math when I play the Horses. instead of picking the Horses, I will play the program pick horses and add them up to get long shots. The only reason that Australian syndicate did make a profit on the February 15, 1992 Virginia 6/44 Lotto was because they did the math. If there were 10 combinations on each, they had to get and fill out over 700,000 play slips. Yes that is a guess but with present days rules I can't imagine any group playing more than 30% of the possible combinations of a state lottery in a couple of days. As I remember the odds of winning that Virgina lottery at the time was 1:12M and it had a jackpot with a cash value of $18M and more than a couple of days between drawings. I want the digits also, but at least I'm attempting to understand how to come up with picks myself without begging, pleading, or demanding...Do some homework...You'll appreaciate a win more...and you might just learn somethings along the way.

Fair point BUT....If you don t play then you won t stand a chance to win, true?

To my understanding and from your words all lotteries are rigged, you have provided some of the reasons.... so if it is rigged then there must be system in place which that system has to be mathematical and nothing else and therefore we use math to narrow down to their system and increasing our chances to win more often or perhaps win big!

O.k., first just let me say that I don't mean to offend anyone, even though I know I will. Everyone has their own opinion and their right to it. In Wisconsin Pick 3, 000, 001, and 002 (totals 0, 1, and 2) have won. Whether or not anyone actually had those tickets, I don't know and don't care since I didn't. Absolutely. As a simple example, nobody has ever won pick 3 by playing digits that added up to 1, 2 or more than 27. As long as you stick to the totals that are actualy possible. your ticket has exactly the same chance as any other ticket.
