When do you make your pick(s) before buying the ticket(s)?

In GA you can play a number for numerous days and only make one purchase.......I up to 7 days

Since I play my set numbers everyday, I have my playslips filled out, along with one or two QPs and make sure I play in time for each game. However, it would be nice to able to afford to play my set numbers a week or two in advance so that they are locked into the system just in case.

To me it's easier to pick your numbers at night, and continue on playing the same # until it hit

I'm working on my MegaMillions picks for tonight right now, I just took a break to check LP to see what's going on. I still have plenty of time to make my 20 picks and make out 4 play slips before 10:45 PM. I'm also running some tests on an old procedure I haven't tried for a while and in a couple of hours I will have decided how to set all the parameters in my RNG for my 20 picks. Good luck if you're playing MM tonight too.

Day in advance, at 11:30pm right after the NY Take 5 drawings since I only play Take 5 daily on a 4if4of7 abbreviated wheel and one Mega Millions ticket when it's one of those days.

i engage private Cray clone supercomputer week in advance (it takes time to bring liquid nitrogen to the right superconducting temperature...) then run billions of Monte Carlo simulations till the night of the drawing... kiiiddding:)

Lately, my workouts are on the same day, shortly before the cutoff time at the retailer's lottery terminal. It becomes too rushed at times, much easy for error. I'm getting better in the workouts before crunch time.

It depends. I would say, that most times, I choose my numbers a few hours before buying them. But if I have a certain set of numbers that I play each week, I just take the already filled in slips to the store.

I do my workouts the night before, then I go over it the next day and make some choices. Sometimes I throw it all away if I get a ''flash'' of a number when I get to the gas station, those flashes are very good hits. I had a flash the other day with the 349 combo, played it straight. It didnt' come out, so I thought geez, a big bite in the profits. I didn't play it the next day, it came out straight.

I usually pick them the night before, so a day prior. This way if I am short of time I don't want to be haste.
