BobP,

Not sure if you read my first post here, but I suggested that he try the Lottery Post wheel filters, which are not only full-featured, but cheap. (Regarding your comment: As the only other kind of filtering software is rather expensive, I suggest the following. emphasis added by me.)

The problem with throwing CoverMaster at the problem is that it does not tend to produce balanced wheels. So saying that it won't filter out the jackpot winner is iffy at best.

Don't get me wrong, Cov... [ More ]

This is the main reason Wheel Generator exists; to make coverings x if y with maximized coverage(s) to your budget without eliminating combos as defined by your filters. The problem you face when filtering down is exactly the reason I have created this program.

cheers

lottoarchitect

Filtering of this kind only applies to the jackpot combination and not the lower tier prizes. In other words, when you allow only combinations with 2-odd/4-even you exchange the ability to win a prize with 3-odd numbers for the lower cost to play for the jackpot combination.

The trouble is, what are the odds the jackpot combination will be among the combinations on the wheel you are filtering? First the jackpot has to be in there among the other combinations and then you have to avoid filt... [ More ]

Have you looked at the filters available to Platinum members at Lottery Post?

There is an incredible variety of filters for practically any type of scenario. To check it out:

Click the Lottery Wheels Home Page in the Systems menu. Click on the wheel type (Pick 5 or Pick 6). Click on the Full Wheel of your choice as the starting point. Don't worry about the number of tickets shown, because you are filtering and that number will change. Focus on the Numbers column, which is the size of the... [ More ]

I have been playing a few differant 26 number wheels. Some created by Covermaster, LDIR's Professional Wheeling and some direct downloads. The problem is after filtering in order to cut costs, I am eliminating winning tickets. What I would like to know is there a better way to filter than the basics like the filters LDIR uses?? The programs for predicting I am using is Lottoman LDIR. Are there any programs that just do filtering
