Tuesday is ruled by Mars which rules 2 signs Aries - 1 and Scorpio - 8. Wednesday is ruled by Mercury, which also rules 2 signs Gemini - 3 and Virgo 6. Friday is ruled by Venus which rules Taurus - 2 and Libra - 7. which are mirror numbers of each other, so there are no extra combos. All the rest of the days are only ruled by one sign. So when you have an extra sign you have more combos that are made from the sun - moon and day signs together.
