yes, I had the same problem when I was visiting Pa. a couple months ago.

I play $1.00 backup bet all the time in Ohio, so I ws shocked when the clerk

told me I couldn't do that. so bought 2 tickets for .50 box/strght

Rest of the slip looked fine. The machine said the error was me choosing $1 instead of $0.50 for the bet type of straight/box. Weird.

Are you sure there wasn't a mistake in the markings of the slip? I know I've done that in the past and looked at the slip only to see a mistake filling in the appropriate box or boxes.

When I tried to play a straight/box combo for $1, the machine rejected it and told the clerk invalid bet amount . I could have sworn you could do that!

Have any of you run into that
