It depends, you could also have county taxes like dk1421 mentioned, you can have city taxes if you live in the city limits of a city/town that has a tax and there are other potential taxes that might come about. If you're really lucky, your state will retroactively enact a nice big tax hike on you.

When I lived in PA, I remember paying County taxes. But I think it was just for the priviledge of working in that county. I don't think it was much.
