Unless they recently changed it, all the Quinto betting options are a $1. The only difference between Quinto and the PA pick-3 and pick-4 is you can't make $.50 bets.

Please don't forget, though, that whenever Pennsylvania brings out a new game [Mix Match, Quinto, etc.] it DOUBLES the ticket price!

So please do not forget that Quinto costs $2.00 to play it Straight and another $2.00 to play it Boxed!

I'd rather play EIGHT Pick 4 numbers BOXED for that kind of money!

And once I won a few boxed Pick 4 numbers, MAYBE I'd throw some $$ at Quinto.

With the front 3, back 3, front 4, and back 4 features, players can play pick-3 and pick-4 all in the same game. Quinto would be an excellent game for states will low volume pick-3 and pick-4 games by simply adding the box option.

Most rolling jackpot pick-5 games start out at $100,000 which is less than 25% of the game odds; Quinto is a much better bet.

I think you are right on. P3, P4, and Quinto to me are numbers games. The jackpot games are lotto games. Maybe if more states add Quinto type games you could create a forum for it like P3, and P4.

I sure wish Tx would start a Quinto game. It would beat the Cash 5 which pays 25k or less and is parimutuel with odds over 435000 to 1.

I always have struggled with this myself: how does one classify Quinto games? I would tend to agree that it is a pick 5 game.

One bit of terminology I have come up with to try and separate Quinto games (as well as Pick 3 and Pick 4 games) from lotto games where all the numbers are drawn from one number pool is to call them numbers games . (Harkening back to the old days when people ran numbers , before the state loteries existed.)

So I called Quinto a Pick 5 Numbers game .
