I would compare my numbers to the profile of winning jackpot numbers.

For instance, out of the 53 jackpot winning numbers since 6/24/2005,

35 out of the 53 draws had two numbers with the same last digit in the

white ball set. This occurs approximately 66% of the time. If you add in

the megaball, it increases a little bit more. To illustrate, the following

chart shows the winning jackpot numbers with last digits highlighted in

the color blue. Megaball is added with the color red... [ More ]

Maybe too many low numbers??

Every combination has exactly the same chance of being drawn, regardless of what numbers are inthe combination. The more numbers you have to use, the more possible combinations there are, but there's only going to be one winning combination drawn. Matching the winning combination requires exactly 5 regular numbers and 1 mega number. Having a combination that has the same pattern as the winning combination only wins you a chance to try again next time.

Thanks, Pink and your right. I suppose I should look at it as 'possible' but not impossible to hit at some point, then again I'm fully aware I could play MM the rest of my days and it would never hit. I can only hope it would

Ya Dollar, I'm more like you playing both sides of the spectrum in the event the QP 'could' be the one being printed, so highly unlikely it is. Then again I just started to be committed to regular play, than jumping in like the rest do when its 200+ mil and many tim... [ More ]

Once you decide to buy a quick pick there's no sense in discussing strategy, you have decided to go with what ever the machine prints out and hope for the best. Almost the same with birthdays except you can switch the numbers between the five core positions and the bonus position.

I have a strategy for picking numbers but it should have the same disclaimer that most lottery software have For entertainment only .

I pick both: QP and chosen numbers: 5-11-12-19-26, which is the combination of three birthdays, mine, my husband and older niece; also I'm playing numbers I received from a fortune cookie several years ago which said: MAY YOU GROW RICH; Lucky Numbers: 1-11-13-14-16-21.

So stick to your system and GOOD LUCK TO YOU

I don't see any reason why they couldn't appear, you'd be surprised at what can happen. If you look at the ending digits of the second set 07-18-24-38-54 , then' you get 7 4 4 8 8, two doubles and a single. Guess what set of numbers just won the powerball drawing.

14-24-31-43-51 + 27 1 1 3 4 4 for the ending digits so two doubles and a single, plus the beginning digits were 1 2 3 4 5. The only thing I regret is that I picked to play 2 3 4 for the ending digits, so I came close, but not close... [ More ]

Hello, I am new here. I have played MM on and off, but when I read about what the winner did to get the ticket its mostly 1 of 2 things. Obviously QP does work, but when it comes down to it, are you at the right mahchine at that point in time that prints the combination that will be drawn.....

I'd like to think it 'could' happen at some point playing this way, but really is so random its hard to be convinced when buying your ticket this way each time that particular machine prints the combina... [ More ]
