tiggs95, bomatt,

I didn't say fixed, I said shenannigans.

The pre-test is supposed to amke sure there are no glitches, no mechanical (ball drawing) mishaps, so the live drawing goes smoothly.

Do a search and there are plenty of pre-test discussions here on LP.

How can the lotteries be unfair?

Someone wins, if someone does not win, it rollsover.

When it rollsover, more play and a greater chance of someone winning the pot.

Since it is a quasigovernment corporation, it is not like a casino to where the

house benefits. In a lottery, the house is not the workers or the owners.

A non-winner does not benefit them.

Tonight on WGN-TV when they showed the drawing, they did the Pick 3, the Pick 4, then the Lotto (Pick 6), skipping the Little Lotto (Pick 5), which always comes before the Lotto..

When they announced the Lotto they said the jackpot was $12 million, but it wan't, it was $7 million.

Then they said due to technical difficultires the Little Lotto results would be shown later in the broadcast.

Illinois still uses balls, thank goodness, but so much for a pre-test I guess.
