I seem keep winning the small jackpots, $2.00-$3.00/$12.00-$16.00 and a lot of free replays ; then I hit a dry spell -GO FIGURE--All I know my chosen numbers are out in the universe waiting to hit any minute now

I won 3 times in September and 5 times in October on the Florida Cash 3 and Play 4 - all together about $2,000. I usually try and play the same amount of monies but it is tempting to play more because in your mind you think you can win more or want to win more. Then you can start to get greedy and I beleive that is a bad Omen. I have put most of the money in the bank and it's paid for my cruise I am taking in November. An old timer told me everyone has 15 minutes of luck every day if you gamble you need to tap into that lucky period. I know you'll say no way we have 15 minutes of luck every day. Well it could come in all forms for a minute or 2 like when you almost spill that coffee or drink but you catch it before you it falls. Yeah, that's exactly what my gut instinct tells me.

Maybe the trick is to hammer down immediately after the first small win instead of waiting til the second or third as I have tended to do.

Maybe there's only a very small window when everything is lined up in your favor.

Not lottery, but......

I went to dealer's school in Vegas to fo to work in casinos.

The instructor was a real character. He had a theory that every gambler is going to experience a day or night where dollar you've ever blown gambling is going to be trying to make its way back to you, and many more dollars, but you've got to tralize what's happening when it's happening, but most people don't.

When I start winning I start playing with my gut feeling after the win. Why because my gut usually tells me when to or not to play. I also make it a rule not to lose more than what I spent on the date I won. So if I spent $20 on Pick 3 and won. Then spent another $20 on Pick 3 or any other game and lost then I stop and wait for the next wave of wins to begin.

Yup, thats me. I hit in September 5 + times ( all within 2 weeks) on the 3 way and can't buy a hit since.

I'm with you on this one, and I usually find it to be a big mistake as that is when the dry spell begins.

I'm trying to control this.

But, several times I have held back on placing a little more money, trying to conserve and the number appears giving me another small win.

No I do not have that problem. When I play i usually hit str8 unless my confidence wavers but i still hit box.

I seem to win a lot of small prizes in streaks of a week or two and then go on long dry spells.

I usually increase my plays when I'm on one of the streaks thinking that maybe my luck might extend to one of the big ones.

Does anybody else experience this
