Oh my lord...the winning numbers tonight were 4-5-6-16 and the megaball was 21! I mentioned all of those above several hours ago. I can't believe it.

If I had played the two numbers that I listed above as hot for the megaball (17 and 21), along with the hot numbers I listed above for the remaining 4 numbers (4,6,7,16,19), I would have won $268 tonight by hitting 3of4 plus the megaball!

In Florida we have a powerball-knockoff game with better odds, but the jackpots are far smaller, and the remaining prizes aren't much. The drawings only run twice a week, and the odds of hitting 4/44 plus a 1/22 megaball are close to 3,000,000, but I decided to give it a shot a few weeks ago since I was tired of wasting money on powerball, which has far worse odds.
