I was just saying what the odds are of it happening. Odds aren't precise as you know people who win the jackpots beat the odds.

As of yesterdays draw Megamillion has repeated 1 whiteball from the previous draw 36 times in the last 95 draws....38

I hope so - that would be what we call true randomness.

I have spent A LOT of time looking for a tendency that may follow a ballset or ball machine, and I never found one, nothing worthy of putting any stock into, anyway.

Could be that the machines and balls are calibrated and balanced so well now, that each draw can come so close to creating the same rotation of balls

This is odd, because when I tracked PB 5/55 it was nowhere near 43% - it was more like 20%, but the gentleman that posed this question says his game is a 5/35 game, you would think those odds would be quite a bit easier to hit.

thats just one of those constants that I track....This year in Mega million its about 35%, powerball is 43%

The reason I call it a constant is because it's been happening every year...Like I said the overall avg is about 35%...

If you put powerball and Megamillion together and line it up by draw date...you would have a repeater in 37% of the draws...(whats so astounding about that number is that 50% of those 37% repeaters land in the exact same position as the prev... [ More ]

Actually in the last 92 pb draws a white ball has repeated from the previous draw 40 times (about 43%). Its a little high this year...overall it happens 35-37% of the time.

im not sure what you are asking.

a pb would repeat one of the 5 drawn balls about 1 in 7 games. sometimes more sometimes less.

are you asking about playing with a filter that doesnt have the pb as one of the 5 balls from other barrel
