Well I played-and are still playing 2 -20 buck 5 day draws on the top 4 combos.. I did hit a 3 number on a rolldown for 25 bucks 2 draws ago..got all the money back on that plus 5 bucks ahead.. The wife made me play my 5 dollar profit on the main lotto so that got thrown away..no win at all on that as usuall dumb picks (Quik pics) but gotta keep her happy.. Hi Luki.. Your picks here look (WAY) better --most of them are in the top 5 combos from as stated in the 1st of this thread.. Right now none of the top 5 have hit for 11 draws.. The record is 11 draws over the past 1.5 years that none of the top 5 hit and that only happened once..I am definitly going to go out and get 20 bucks worth of 5 day draws on the top 4 tomorrow..simular to yours.. Hang in there Nino224, You will get it. Mix it up, if your really feel that deep about QPs. One day play your numbers, and if one day you don't feel inspired play a QP Who knows you might strike it like that. I know of a lady that does not play regularly and she won it with a QP in Orlando (Not even where she lives). Thats Pure Luck !! No Calculating , No Smart Picks, etcc..

Unbelievable!! Until a couple of weeks ago all I played were QP's. After getting on this thread I decided to try smart picks and my own numbers.

So far this year, QP's have been on a tear, including FOUR free ticket winners. ALL of last night's winners were QP's!!

Did you see the 2010 Payouts, They are exactly @ 50% Profit in every single Draw. Total Sales to Total Prize Pool. Of Course 90% of the winners are going to come from Quick picks as 90% of the people do not bother calculating odds or figuring out smart Picks. Also with QPs they have total Control assuming Its Fixed in some way.

But its good to see 6 People are $33,000 richer.

Actually they gave me a PX number to the security team so I call them and arrange to attend one. I might check that out. I think if I could see last minute pre draws by the TV crew just before the official draw then that would mean there is nobody hiding behind the curtain doing all day long pre draws to try to mess with it..I guess I take it at their word.. Has anyone tried to figure out the fantasy 5 with Root Sums ?

Is there a Software that analysis this kind of stuff?

For Example

I have been following this method since 12/10/2009 on paper. The Root Sum 2 and 5 were Due and LAst Night the Root 2 Hit

3-7-18-25-34 hit 26th time in 1.5 years ---- 1-9 row 1/2-9 row 2/10-19 row 3/20-29 row 4/ 30s number row 5 (to understand the combos)

5-10-11-23-33 hit 28th time in 1.5 years

6-14-26-31-34 stays in the lead with 31 hits in 1.5 years

Tonight's numbers were 1-17-19-26-27.

I was somewhat right about tonight's numbers being colder than the other recent draws. No real hot numbers in this draw. I just ended up choosing the wrong neutrals/colds. I don't know why, but I was very confident about number 1 hitting tonight. It just seemed due to me for some reason. And hitting with 17 was just a luck shot basically. I break all the numbers up by categories (1-9) (10-19) (20-29) and (30-36) and get my code by what hits in each column (row)

In last nights set of numbers #3 hit in row 1 so it came from the (1-9) category

#11 hit in row 2 so it came from (10-19)

#28 hit in row 3 and came from the (20-29) category

#30 hit from the (30-36)

If what you're saying is true, which wouldn't surprise me at all, and they really are using computers to sweep through all the combinations played each night and then determine before each drawing which winning combination will result in the most profit for the fund and least profit for the players...then that would lead me to believe that their system would prefer to avoid allowing wheels like mine to hit the jackpot. I already bought the tickets. If what you're saying is true then they're always rigging it anyway. There's no way of knowing. I'm not playing anymore after Thursday, so it doesn't really matter to me.

LOL...only managed to hit 1 of 9 on the imaginary wheel. Not very encouraging, considering tomorrow's supposed to be the real deal for me. I also just noticed I had way too many odd numbers in that wheel also. I need 4 out of those 18 to hit tonight in order to win more than a free qp...otherwise there's a very slim chance of winning back any money.

I also played an 8 line smart pick, and made sure 3 of the 8 tickets had no singles in it. Oh and on top of that I also have 2 free qps from Thursday's draw.

A;; I can say Nino are my facts on quick picks for the past 2 years are total loosers compared to (Smart pics) Mayby I have bad luck or am cursed or something with (free tickets/quick pics) In the past 2 years I have won somewhere about 1ooo to 1500 free tickets and only 18 of them have won money totaling about 300 bucks and thats a close fact.. I usually pick 10-15 numbers. I haven't tried making lines out of all the numbers yet but I did think this would be something to try when I could eliminate say 1-9 or 30-39. I could also try this with all the numbers that have been out less than 20 games. This is something I would like to experiment with as another way to choose lines.

Nino224, Good Point - but remember to only Play what you can afford to loose, everyones Budget is different. When you just play 1 dollar a day and a QP, its Possible you might hit it off of pure luck this is not impossible but close to it. I feel that way about the Lotto and Powerball. And slso remember that you are calculating spending $3,000 a year , but remember 3 Number Hits and 4 Number hits pay you back some of it possibly more than half of it.

Dropping $8 a night on smart picks adds up to almost $3,000 a year.

So if you're playing different combos all the time, what if the one you played a month ago drops tonight, and you didn't play it? That would be enough make me looney tunes. These methods you guys use are certainly clever, but as you yourself proved on Dec. 12th, trying to predict these numbers is a losing proposition. Correct Recovery, You Play all 36 Numbers in 8 tickets and its Just an $8 investment. It could get very frustrating at times, trust me I have been there, like now for Instance last night 6 winners. Thats a Joke!! Most of those if not all are QPs. Any Person at this point playing Smart Picks will not get that combo.

Yes...that's what they've been talking about for the past few weeks. Picking all 36 numbers over 8 play slips just to make sure you've covered every number at least once. Smart pick is what they referred to it as..I think they made that pretty clear. Yeah last night was a (Rolldown) It has been a while since one happened.. I would think one (Might) happen again tonight being a lot or most gas stations and lotto outlets are closed today.. Most would of had to get a 5 day play on Dec 24th. It will be interesting on how many tickets were sold for tonight via how many winners whether jackpot or 4 number winners and so on.. I think it is no matter what happens the Fla lottery must pay 555 bucks to all 4 number winners and 20 to 30 bucks to all 3

I basically have been doing the samething...except I make sure I play every possible number at least once. I typically end up with combinations I really like and have often filled out a playslip covering several types of possible combinations very efficiently to my standards so that various possible distributions of odds vs evens, singles-teens-20s-30s, and hots colds are well accounted for. Once I used one of Gail Howards 5 + 1 wheels for Little Lotto 5/39 and I managed to hit 4 numbers. I'm thinking I wheeled 13 numbers.

I have tried to use her wheels several times but I'm just not happy with the number lines they produce. Plus to get the amount of lines I wanted to play sometimes I had to add numbers and then sometimes I had to delete numbers. Tonight was the closest I've ever come to hitting 4 numbers...and probably should have been the one where I had won. Since I made sure I played every number spread across 8 tickets...or smart picking...or whatever you want to call it...I ended up putting 6 and 7 together on one ticket, and the very next line on my playslip was 18 and 32. Cool, I have been playing #5 and # 6 as I seen them earlier on as potential (Super hots) --and they have been...When I used your minus idea it on my number 6 it came up with # 5 and sure enough #5 hit for the 4th time as a super hot.. #6 is still good too.. it must hit tonight or tomorrow night to continue as a super hot.. I am glad you got a Hit. This method has pulled me out of Holes many times. I realized this once when I bought a quick pick and all the numbers were off by 1. I said Hmmmm. Maybe if I buy 1 QP and Play +1 -1 , I might have a fighting chance. Believe it or Not I have Hit 4 Numbers with this method a few times. Just once I hit on a rolldown. But always stick with your smart picks and numbers.

Hi Luki, your strategy worked tonight.. I had (6-15-24-29-35) on one of my numbers.. Tonights draw was (5-23-28-29-31) ! used your minus method and had (5-14-23-28-34) on a seperate number and won 11 bucks.. I also got 5 free tickets from my smart picks and 2 of them won from your suggestion.. On a horror quick pick note.. Hi luki.. This suggestion is great.. I added this to my 5 day number draws tonight..some + and some minus... I had actually thought about something like this before but just never did it.. It sorta gives you a wheel on a favorite combination.. If your combo hits then it gets a beefed up chance.. Right now there have been 3 bad combos in a row.. so there is a good chance of a couple of good combos to hit over the next 5 days..and a beefed up combo might win something for payback...or the big one.... Tonight's draw had a single in position 4...and no teens or twenties. This has not happened in 3 months. This draw is also very close to the one from two days ago...just replace the 5 and the 8 with 6 and 10. Oh and 36 seems to be another super hot candidate now...with four hits in 5 days.

Didn't even win a free qp tonight...as I never play 3 singles together...let alone 4. Plus one of my free qps had 36 on it, so I didn't play 36 anywhere else, as I had doubts about it heating up any longer,... [ More ]

I had been watching that #8 also..and screwed up--- Its like the opposite of chasing a cold number in this case you are predicting that a (super hot) number like #8 must end its winning streak and not use it anymore.. I think #8 has hit 10 times within a 3 week period.. I quit using it after it hit 4 times thinking it would die.. Skoaler again more great ideas! I've never thought about playing a few tickets one way (because I think something is about to hit) and then the rest with a good spread of numbers. The problem I have is that I'll see things and pick my numbers accordingly and then many times the numbers I have chosen come trickling in a few days later. I guess this is where a 5 day draw would be to my advantage... [ More ]

The problem with a 10-15 in column 1 is that hits like that are few and far between so I can't justify dedicating a lot of plays to it.

Also i wanted to share another strategy that helps me. Whenever you Like a combination always Play the +1 -1. You will be surprised How Many times you will Miss significant Hits By not Doing this.

Well Skoaler, you were right about a 20s coming up in row 5..one of those hit tonight. I actually played two tickets with 20s in position 5 tonight...just because I've been playing too many tickets every night that always end with a 30. Also, 18 has finally come back from the dead. It only took 40 draws for it to finally hit again. Really wasn't expecting 8 to come up again though...that was a surprise. Thanks, And also go with Luki's advice (Who actually won the thing) Fla fant 5 .. Notice most of Luki,s suggestions are to have a 1-9 in column 1 and a 30s number in column 5 and a cool spread of other numbers in between.. These type of combos are what hit the most by the columns.. I win all the time at least something by using these and making a best spread of hot due and cold numbers at each draw as I can see it coming down the pike.. Hmmm The number tonight was (1-2-6-10-36) I cashed in about 8 free tickets tonight from my smart pick wins and one of them had (1-2-4-11-36) so I missed the full jackpot by 3 digits.. Will have to settle for 8 dollars and 50 cents instead.. another free ticket close but disaster in the end.. This makes a phenominal grand total of only 18 free ticket money wins out of over one thousand plus free tickets I have won in 2 years.. This one was close but $8.50 ??? .. I only go as high as 10 or 11 though as those 2 hit the most when a higher number is due in column 1.. Wow...8 people won tonight. Probably had something to do with the 6-8-10 combination. I accidently had 16-33 on two tickets...I was trying not to repeat any two numbers on my tickets, but I overlooked that and now I'm obviously glad I did. And I thought Wednesdays were a better day to play since the jackpots are about $30,000 larger than usual. But that could also mean there's a greater likelihood of sharing a jackpot too since more people are playing. Oh well.
