Careful Nino,

I get down to Miami a couple times a year. If you're behind me you don't want to take the same numbers. You're better off with quick picks. I can usually guarantee 2 numbers on the pick3 and 3 numbers on the pick 4 though, LOL.

I go even further. I don't need to see the guy in front of me plunk down a small fortune. If somehow I happen to see what # he's playing I'll put at least $1 on it.

You all are talking about the 3 Digit and Casino, well, I am talking about the Track, once I wanted to play a Keenland Race, these guys come inside the Track with a lot of money on them, I was right behind them, I knew they had to know something. I even asked who was the winning horses? what I did I played what they played and came home with some money, I even told a few other people at the Track about their Selections, I cleaned up. I wish I would of played a whole lot of money on the tip that

My minimum is $.50str./$.50box on any P4, my maximum is $15.00 straight and $5.00 box on a single number P4. If it looks like it may drop due to date or lead up I may go higher.

I only play straight P3 one number $2 to $5 worth. For eg. I am waiting for 193 to drop in Md., if it looks unlikely $1-2, if it looks likely $3-$5, but I will only play it str. 193 no box on P3.

There are lots of people who play a large amount on the same number. If you think it makes sense to play that number, what do you do if two of those people happen to be in front of you? Are you going to play both numbers, when it's obvious that there's not any chance at all that they're both playing the number that will win

I have never seen someone else win who played several of the same number. Most often you see a pile of discarded tickets near the waste basket with the cigarette ad on it, all with the same number, and that wasn't even close to what came out.

The reason people do this is to avoid having to File Claim. I have even had Store clerks question why I put $1.00 on one instead of 2 for .50, or on Pick-4 doing STR/BOX together, saying I'd have to pay tax withholding if I win. Your odds are 1000 to 1 o... [ More ]

I had a couple of friends who could tell you a story or two about their experience behind some guy buying 50 bucks or so worth of tickets straight and coming out. One of my friends who experienced this for the first time did not follow through and buy any tickets. Ooooops !

I've never experienced being behind anyone, but after what happened to me about 6 or 7 years ago would definitely make me want to buy atleast 20 tickets if I saw a guy in front of me purchasing a lot of tix.

You're a crap player indeed! Some bosses sweat the money, some bleed the money, sounds like those guys were bleeders. There's a saying, casinos have red carpets because the boses are bleeding the money.

Maybe play 1-2-3-4-5 bonus ball 7! California lo-ball it!

Who knows!

Sometimes I'll play 1-2-3-4-5 on Pick 5 as a sacrifice bunt and make the next game box a QP to see what happens with the QP.

Many years ago I was rolling the dice at a little casino between the Stardust and the old Frontier betting $5 pass line bets with double odds and making two come bets, both with double odds. A guy next to me was betting $100 on the Field with an occasional $100 prop bet on 12 and everybody knows that the worst bet to make in a casino.

Funny thing about the prop bets. I don't know how many times someone would be playing the props and all the smart players (AHEM!) would advise them they are making sucker bets and the props would keep hitting.

This makes no sense, but if you spend thousands of hours behind the tables you'll see things like a Horn bet parlay hit two and three times. People in the business say that the naturals run together, 2, 3, 11, and 12, leaving out the 7 in the case of a Horn bet.

As a craps dealer, I'll bet you saw your share of people making huge prop bets and as a player I saw that many times too. The first inclination is to bet something on it too, but the dice certainly don't know how much is riding the outcome. Over time if we make the same bet just because somebody bet a 100 dollar YO , the house edge will eat up all of our winnings.

This one person gives their friend........50.00......to put on 412 the Eve draw of 12/04/09 KY.

124 had hit 2 eves before......so their strategy was going for that number to come back ( I would guess )

The Friend took the 50.00 and bought the tickets .........as 412

I have seen many times, i met a older guy in Southfield, MI i saw him put 50.00bx on 1028, and

believe me that number fell, it blew my hair back. I met a guy in Romulus MI, and his granddaughter

told him to play 7343 off somebody's license plt. he put 7.00str and the number fell.

If the time is right, i would go with 5 or 10.00 bucks on the P4
