I just remembered I was talking to someone yesterday and they told me the lady that hit that Mega Million she had been playing those same numbers for 8 years. Maybe that is what we have to do, just keep playing the same numbers for yrs.

09/18/09 was just three months ago. If you're recording past drawings to check if combinations repeat then three months is not a lot of history to keep. LP drawing histories go back a lot farther.

On March 6, 2007, a Mega Millions jackpot worth $390 million was split by two tickets, one each from Georgia and New Jersey. To date, this is the largest recorded payout (of an annuity-based prize) in the world.

What's strange about only 5 repeating? There are 367,290 possible combination of fours in a pool or 56 numbers and 5 of them come up every drawing. There has been 467 drawings since the matrix change so 467 x 5 = 2335 combinations of fours have come up and 5 were repeats.

That is so Strange, why would there only be four out of these numbers. Seems like it is Rigged, if that is the case. Thanks for Input! I am still going to try it my way, you never know! The odds of winning numbers repeating are the same as they were of them coming up the first time. 1 in 175,711,536

As far as i know the mega millions or powerball drawing has never had all 5 of the numbers repeat twice at any time on a single line.

In mega million and power ball a repeat number or numbers can happen and has happened from draw to draw. In some instances using the last ten draws for history for the next drawing there have been winning lines that contained all 5 number from those previous 10 draws.

Anything could happen. It is all in the luck of the draw.

These are the odds of previously drawn winning numbers to reapeat or even a portion of those winning numbers for the draw.

Go to usa mega on the left of the screen and you will find where you can input numbers to see if they have previously won. That would give you info on a prviously drawn line of numbers.

Repeat, I was just wondering yesterday I took a look at all the Payouts in the last 20 draws, I am thinking, well maybe I will play all the numbers that had the big payoff? like the 200,000,000, the 300,000,000 more but can't remember them all I would have to refer back to them.
