a lot of people dont play Pick5 or Pick3 because they can get that same amount of money playing poker..well i call it clandestine poker i think people can assemble and play poker not the same thing with the lottery....

Not many people know but the lottery, Pick3 and Pick4 and Pick5 are competing with poker...

there is a difference here...People can assembled and play poker yet they can t do the same thing with the traffic lights...

It was either gamble, drink, smoke or do drugs and I personally like my liver, lungs and brain. So I'll stick to possibly hurting my pocketbook instead. I can fix that damage with a little elbow grease if I don't have a lucky streak going.

There is always that one chance.

I got 5 out of 6 numbers right this year on a 1.2 mil jackpot. After that I got to thinking maybe I really do have a snowball's chance...

but i still dont know WHY people play pick3...Pick3 game serves no purpose unless it was free..i think you you are better off predicting where the forex will turn and make money off of it or the stock market than playing pick3...

I play because it is a Game of Chance. I don't win all the time but I feel really good being able to help others win. And I know one of these days I am going to hit the big one! It is recreation for me. It is fun to pick numbers and watch them come in other States. That is one way I am feeling that I will have some luck somewhere. Or I will give other people Luck. I play because I like the knowing that I will win sometime and the lump sums usually come right on time. My employment of 20 years and the 401k did not leave me wealthy. My gut feelings still tell me that one day I will be wealthy enough to be of help to the needy. There is also something to the addiction so as long as I'm looking at the plus I think I can hang.

Playing the lottery gives me hope that I can put my dreams into action. I love the challenge of choosing my own numbers and if my numbers don't hit I don't get upset. I don't play every day. Only when the jackpot is over 100+ millions for Mega and Powerball, other games I also have the jackpot limit before I play. I'm retired so I play because I'd love to hit a big Jackpot and since in this state lots of the money played goes to school systems I look at the money I spend as a tax from which I can get a lot of money if I win and if I don't I'm helping kids learn. If I hit a big jackpot I'll be building the greenest off the grid house in the country. BTW Tell me which bank you save your money in. The interest mine pays id pitiful.

When I go drop my $0.50 on the counter for my lottery ticket I know I am either going to have a return on that investment or a loss that day.

You hear just as many stories of winners and losers in the investment game as you do the lottery. A lot of banks and corporations just recently got bailed out for billions in losses. How many individuals have lost their lifes work recently.

I play because i want to win. i don't spend big bucks unless it's for a raffle. i 'm a daily 3 girl. but, i also like tracking the numbers, i do that even when i don't play. thats what i love about LP. I can post predictions for all the 3 digits in all the states . i feel it can help me better understand what might be falling in my own state.

I do not play. Now that might sound strange but let me explain. I use the lotto as a source of random numbers. Using those numbers I explore all the patterns and try to find a link between most of them. Year to date, my total investment in the lotto is less than $25 (and those were QP's bought on a whim). I have found much enjoyment in just researching for an algorithym that will produce a profitable investment.

I inherited some stock when my dad passed away a few years ago. Up to that point I never paid much attention to the stock market. Well, when it started to disappear before my very eyes, I sure started to pay attention. I can honestly say that if I hit a jackpot, the stock market is the very last place the money will be. And the interest that banks pay is not even enough to offset inflation.

So, I play to be qble to retire and enjoy life.

For some people that first win is the thing that keeps them going back for more then it sometimes develops into an addiction the highs and lows of winning and loosing. To fuel that addiction people play more numbers. Gamblers will say people will spend twice as much as they won trying to win again.

Say you put 200.00 in the bank is it going to give you that much interest. no, but a dollar can net you sums of money no other investment will do.
