Georgia started on April 19, 2009.

Idaho started Sunday drawings (they have one drawing a day) on January 6, 2008.

Ohio started Sunday day and night drawings on May 20, 2007.

Virginia started Sunday day and night drawings on January 7, 2007.

They were posted here on LP right after the draw. You can go to the tool bar at the top right of the screen, mouse over on Results then click on Daily Numbers Games and see the results.

Yes those are the numbers.

They were not on television though.

Nor were they in my local newspaper.

I got them by phone calling the illinoslottery phone number.

It would be depressing to have your birthday be on January 3 then. The only day of the year that will not have a day drawing. But as a consolation, 103 hit last night in Michigan, and then again this afternoon - so 103 has the majority of wins this year in Michigan.

I am actually somewhat surprised that Illinois did not have Sunday day drawings earlier. Illinois was one of the first states to have Sunday drawings - the first one was on March 20, 1983. Most states did not start Sunday drawings until about 1989.

I went to Illinois today, and played a number for a week, midday and evening,

and, my ticket says, From, 1/1/2010-1/6/2010, so, I guess it's a go?

In things lotto advanced play means multiple drawings for the same set of numbers.

Illinois is starting the Midday Sunday on Jan 10th and seeling the tickets seven days in advance, only because the Jan 1oth drawing at Midday is a first for Pick 3 and 4.

You could not go to a lottery vendor on Jan 4 and say, I'd like to play these numbers for the Mega Millions drawing on Jan 26. You would have to play all the drawings between the time you bought the ticket and Jan 26.

You would not really be playing in advance if the drawing isn't until January 10! Even buying your tickets on January 4, you are still buying tickets for the NEXT drawing.

They've been printing this on top of the tickets for all number games;

1st Sunday Midday Pick 3/4/ Drawing is Jan 10,Tix go on sale Jan 4! Soon U can play Pick 3/4 2X daily.

I don't think normally you could play a Pick 3 or 4 ticket 7 days in advance. I'm not sure if Pick 3/4 has advanced play or not, but I know you couldn't usually go up to the counter on Jan 4th and say you want a Pick 3/4 for the 10th.
