I'm just starting to really find a handle on the first version and now I have an even better toy to play with.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have an update on something I was starting to notice in the old version.

I'll post it there for now until I get a chance to use this new version.

Hi everyone:

I created a new rev of stringBreaker. This rev gives you the option of anlayzing as many or as few draws as you wish to in the past draws file. You'll first be prompted to choose how far down you want to go in the past draws file. After entering how far down you want to go, stringBreakerRev2 will find the 4 digit set that had the most no hits for the number of draws you chose.

Hi everyone:

It seems some people are having problems as indicated by the error message about not finding the P4 file(this is a typo, it should say P3 file). Make sure that you save drawsP3.txt as an ASCII encoded file.

If you are using notepad, you want to select ASCII as the option in the Endcoding box on the Save menu.

The longest out 6-digit string has these 4 digits missing 0,2,4,6, 145 draws. Sums 8,10,12,14 are either due or overdue.

Did you create a text file of 120 Pick 3 draws and name it drawsP3

Oldest draw on the bottom

The text file should be in the same folder are the .exe file in order for the program to work.

I will do more testing to verify, but the first one was pretty good. Used the draws from Fl Eve 12/31/09-12/15/09. After 4 draws, 3 hits in-a-row.

I've been doing some random testing on this version, and the 15 past recent draw version(stringBreaker) seems to be doing much better than the 120 past draw version(box2Win). So far stringBreaker has not lost for more than 2 consecutive 5day cycles of play.

Hi everyone:

WIND proposed a stringbreaker system that is closely realted to box2Win. I've modified box2Win so that it shows the regular output, but the amount of draws back is taken to be 15 instead of 120.

WIND - hope you don't mind that I called the new version stringBreaker.exe

The four digits that it shows are the same four digits that WIND gets (I chose 15 draws back, because WIND said the average time 4 digits are out is 16). In addition, next to the 4 digits is the number o... [ More ]
