We don't have set amounts here in NJ.

50 cent straight bet paid $932.50; box paid $38.50 -

that's the lowest payout we've had on pick-4 in awhile.

Same here, LadyMylena - I sometimes get carried away with too many numbers and have to pull back on my pick-4s

which I never hit straight

but hey what can ya do.....

I can relate to you with that p3..Same with me..Just as soon as i drop the str8 and go with box...It falls str8..It does get mighty expensive and end up losing more than what it was worth..As i put more $$$ on the other #s..now that hurts...with p4 i only play a few of them and always play em box/str8..It has never come str8 for me....NOT YET..BUT IT WILL SOON I HOPE

That is the story of my life.

I've done that twice on P3, recently. I wish I could afford to always play st8/bx, but if I'm playing too many numbers, it gets awful expensive. I try to do it when I can, but of COURSE, it's on the night I stop doing it, the # comes up.

Trying to save a few bucks so I played 1945 box here in NJ and, of course, it came out straight!!

That's the second time that has happened to me.

I know I'm not the only one this has happened to so please share your story - it will make me feel a little better!
