There have been too many studies using a coin flip not to know that heads and tails will come close (within statistical significance) to 50-50. So allow me to disagree with you on that point.

As to being impossible to predict, I must agree with you. You might be right some of the time; wrong the rest of the time. Staying with either heads or tails would be the best option. But there is no money in doing that.

So what does being impossible to predict tell us? There is a lesson here; a fact

Actually we only think we know that heads or tails will come up 50% of the time. There are a lot of variables in a coin flip and they are never exactly the same so predicting the outcome 100% is impossible. It's the same with the lottery.

You just used your brain power to develop a system based upon what the coin flip was trying to tell you. Yes, tiggs, as much as you might hate having done so, you just developed a system. You picked the 90% group because the patterns you saw were skewed toward one end of the Bell curve and your common sense told you there was money to be had with the 90% group.

And you said there was no such thing as a system and n... [ More ]

Okay, tiggs, let me put it this way. You, being a gambling man, enter a casino. There are two groups of people. Both are betting on the flip of a coin. As you stand there, taking notes, you see that in group one, heads comes up about 50% of the time. So far so good.

You step over to the second group and begin taking notes. You find heads comes up 90% of the time. Using your powerful logic and deductive reasoning, you decide to join one of the groups. Which one will you join

The troubling part of this statement tells me you are concentrating on the ping pong ball. In my sagacious opinion, that is not where your eyes should be.

Take the flip of a coin. If all you watch is the coin arching into the air, then ou will miss the ending. If all you note is whether heads or tails lands skyward, then you are missing what the flip is trying to tell you. We all know that heads or tails will come up 50% of the time.

I honestly dont know why people even bother with considering a 100% winning system because the game is designed for players to win but gradually play back their profit. Lucky Loser is on the money when he made the statement about not playing every draw. At the end of the day its about how knowledgeable you are at a particular game. I famously coined the phrase of all time The Best System Is the One You Create .

If a system is properly designed to win based purely on negative odds then, you only play the system on dedicated draws. This way, with the odds must catch up with your system. Playing (5) draws and only winning (3) of them because you wandered away from your system will net a less than 100% system.

However, if you're well disciplined and only play when the hit is there for the system, you can play (3) out of (3) and win...netting a 100... [ More ]

IMHO, your humble opinion is dead on. Making money off the P3 or P4 game and investing those funds into Powerball or Mega is nothing short of good, common sense. If you are one of the few making money off the P3 or 4 game, then bully for you. Unfortunately, I don't think most people (99.44%) can make a profit off the P3 or 4 game. Given enough time, we are all losers in the lotto game.
