Thanks a lot for the explanation. It makes sense now. While I am sad I did not get the 315(which I did not win!) I am also happy that I got paid the right amount

is 40 if it comes in boxed and 290 if it comes in straight..

$86 is the payout for $1 box play. $43 is for 50 cent box play.

okay, what am I missing here why would there be 2 box amounts? Is the $86 for a double? Here in MD for that same ticket we would get $40. Lottowin2, the $315 would have been if you played 425 and 425 came out exactly..you would have a str8 and box hit. From the looks of it, it's right.

You played 254 and the winning numbers were 425 .

If you played st/box 425 , you would have won $315.

You played 254 st/box which is 50 cents str/50 cents box, you hit the box play but not the straight play. So the payout was correct.

If it works similar to Florida, you got paid correctly..

Our Straight/Box and getting a $1.00 ticket means your playing 50 cent straight and 50 cent box ..

So your number came in boxed so you get the 43 Dollars is for the 50 cent Box..

If it had come in straight 254 then you get the 315 ..

I Spoke to the manager of the super market. He said he does not have the option to pick the prize amount and said the ticket just printed as a 43 payout.

He gave copies of my ticket, redemption ticket which the station printed and asked to speak with CA lottery. He said he cannot return the original ticket as the machine already printed out the payout.

Will I be able to persue this with CA lottery to get my full payout of 315?

Hello LP'ers,

I have been on the forums on LP for a long time. This is my first post.

Today I won the Pick 3 CA Mid Day

My Numbers were 254 Straight/Box

The winning numbers were 425

Prize Amounts were

1 500 Something for Straight

2. 86 for box

3. 315 for Straight/Box

4. 43 for Box

I got just a payout of 43!!

I was expecting 315 since my pick were 254 straight/box? Is that correct or did I get the game rules incorrectly and I got the... [ More ]
