All she won was a free ticket : (

I think the tickets you choose to buy depends on the state you live in. Here in IL a dollar ticket usually wins me $1 $2 or a free ticket. I have won $50 and $75 dollars on 5 dollar tickets.

I'm to say you wont get that last winning jackpot, look at the sheet above there may be a few $10,000 tickets out there spread out in the whole state in a place you 85% wont find and then for the grand prize tickets the lottery can go months without printing a winning roll and shipping it out. And with buying low dollar scratch tickets your just throwing money out the window sure you may win $500 but you will just go buy 500 more tickets in the long run and end up losing!! Hold your breath babes... [ More ]

Yeah, I've had a little luck with those 20 dollar scratchers too but always put it back going for something bigger.

Losing seems to be more of an affront when it's done 20 bucks at a time with immediate results.

Keep in mind that often times buying consecutive tickets can pay off a bit more.

At least that is in part what I read here, but from experience I find it to be true as well. Only catch is, it can sometime be long and payful in between winners.

But using this method on $2 tickets is much cheaper than using it on $10 or $20 ones.

I once won $50 from a $20 so I took it in and played a string of $10 jobs. Didnt hit jack squat and after $80 I went out to hit the atm again.
