I will not even play that number or write that number..in all of my lottery books for the past 20 years that number gets the symbol xxx..I know that xxx is always the devils number..

The state of Washington hasnt had a triple since May 2008..I have all the triples played there EXCEPT the devils number xxx...if it shows up there oh well..I just missed out..but I will not play that number..noway..nohow

Sure is. I lived there for about 6 months. Right off of I-10. I worked at Woody's quick mart there, right next to the truck stop. It was a one horse town, and the horse only had 3 legs.

I used to stay in Tucumcari after dodgin' tornadoes while travelin' west on 40 thru OK and the TX panhandle. Never failed there'd be tornadoes when I drove that route. Seemed like the weather would always clear up as you got into NM. I don't think I've ever seen Amarillo Texas without black clouds over it, LOL. I was always glad to see Tucumcari. Never heard about the legend though.

I drove the NM part of 666 a couple times before they changed the number.

It's mostly in the Navajo Nation if I recall. Long, lonely, desolate drive thru the desert. Didn't see any ghosts though! lol

Not the kind of place you'd want to break down in at night though.

Although not much of that area is a good place to break down anyway.

Well about 40 years ago I was a member of a church that taught that sort of thing and the last days were coming , etc.

Now, I do believe the Bible, but I don't get freaked out if 666 comes up in a number at the store or whatever.

If you want to get freaked out, just look around you at what is happening in the world today. There's a lot more going on than just 666 popping up here and there.

I remember one time my total rang up to $6.66.. I looked and told the clerk..ew...can't have that now, can we?

I threw a pack of gum on the counter to change the total. Paid my bill and left and didn't think of it again.

It sure doesn't happen often but the next time it did happen, I thought of it as a number to throw a buck on instead of a bad sign. It's nothing

Technically, 666 in roman numerals is DCLXVI. I suppose though if you do each indivdual number it is VIVIVI.

Let's say you pick up just a couple of things at the store or go for coffee and donuts and it rings up $6.66
