I played 3-7-11-19-28 in Florida's Fantasy 5 once and the numbers that came out were

3-7-11-19-29 - won $45 bucks when I should have won the $250,000 jackpot.

Oh well guess I will keep trying.........

I have hit 3 white balls in the Powerball Lottery and 2+ 1 MB in the Mega Millions before.......However the closest I guess I ever came was when I once bought a ticket several years ago for Powerball at a store that the winning ticket was purchased.....I got to pretend for about 1/2 a second...(It was very exciting and a great feeling..I can only imagine what REALLY winning is like

This is just driving me complete nuts

Bought 4 Mega Million Tickets. 2 Different Stores. Both had the Mega Ball Number 32 from yesterday 3/5 draw. But not ONE other Darn Winning number from a sequence of 10 numbers. Lol..

But then the same day I saw that my pick three won 3 of 5 and made like 17 bucks. Lol.

Maybe Big Money is imminent? I will borrow Guru's visualization technique here and in all fairness, I am just looking at a Fantasty 5 (Pick 5) Jackpot and I am happy

The closest I came was when all 5 of my numbers came up in the Virginia Cash5.

I had a 48 draw, multi-draw ticket - they came up on what would have been the 49th draw.

I had asked for the maximum amount of draws when I bought the ticket. The girl told me the max was 48. I found out later the max is 91. Ouch.

Note to self: Never trust a clerk. That was a $100,000 lesson.

Back in the 80's (New York started selling lottery tickets in 1978) I hit the second prize twice in one year for the grand total of about 5 grand. In those days the top prize was in the 5 to 6 figure area.

i won 5 out of 6 on the 6-49. i had a dream 2 years earlier and these numbers finally came out. won 1900+$.

the 1 that got away was also around my 6-49 win. western canadians might recall the 6-36 lottery. if...yes the biggest word in gambling...i would have played a 7 number combo i would have won 350 grand.

When I opened the paper and looked at the numbers, my heart skipped a beat.

I think the jackpot was high too--around $150-200 million.

Best I've done was 3 + 0 in Mega Millions back in 2004.

Now....on the other hand, I came VERY close in a very different fashion late last year in Win for Life. I used a buy-one-get-one free coupon for Win for Life (so, I got 2 quick picks for the price of one). On one of the tickets, each of the 6 numbers was literally one away from what was drawn, high or low. That's the first time I've witnessed that. For me, it was last week in Mega Millions. I checked my ticket here and found that I had matched all 6 numbers on one of my tickets. The only problem was that the numbers were scattered on different lines of a $5 ticket.

These are the closest that I have been. I won $35 dollars on the Powerball and $50 dollars on the Hot Lotto ticket. (If I had put the 21 instead of 24 on the Hot Lotto ticket, I would have won $10,000.) Too bad close doesn't really count.

I don't know if the Texas Cash 5 is considered a big jackpot , but I've hit 4 of 5 numbers at least six times in the past few years.

I also hit 4 of 6 in the Texas Lotto last year.

Getting half way to winning the jackpot in a jackpot games doesn't count for much.

MegaMillion 2+1=$10 3+0=$7

PowerBall 2+1=$7 3+0=$7
