Yeah, I live in Tennessee and use dialup. Did you skip the part where I said that that's the only thing available here? I'm in a narrow holler between mountain ridges so I can't even get satellite service. There are some sacrifices to be made to live where I do but it's worth it to me to not be part of the herd you're in.

The Philadelphia mayor is fining residents $50 for not shoveling their sidewalks, yet most of the secondary and side streets (where people live) have not been plowed by the city (from either of the recent snow blizzards.) Glad that I live in Southern California. Still, we had storm alert with heavy rains. So far, we had clear sky for last few days.

Just wait for Phase 4! Fortunately we live south of the city named after Lord Baltimore. The front loaders just came thru here in Rockville, MD. did some cleanup and made so much noise it woke me! We pretty much had the street passable before they got here.

Anyway Baltimore city has special needs, always has, always will.

Can you or anyone of your god ol boy friends drive through 20 foot snow drifts. In some parts of the county roads were invisible for miles and miles with 50 ft drifts due to farms that stretch for miles across the roads.

You'd probably be one of the Popsicle's they pulled out of their vehicle in the next few weeks. Because you said screw the government I'm gonna drive when i want where i want.

Baltimore city's police intake is a disaster area no telling when you will be released. If they want they can lock you up and forget about you for an unspecified period of time if your a trouble maker.

Phase three snow emergency means no vehicles allowed on the roads except ambulance, fire, police, and guard units, snow removal equip..... at one point yesterday the gov... even pulled all the states vehicles off the roads.

No person needed to be out on the highway for any reason the guard would pick up and deliver hospital and government personnel take people to the hospital etc.

We got a record amount of snowfall in the last week today was a white out blizzard for most of the day.

It was impossible to remove the snow to the pavement, Pennsylvania closed i83 an interstate road through Maryland.

In Baltimore right now, it is actually ILLEGAL to travel on the roadway unless you are an emergency vehicle. This got me to thinking what kind of effect this blizzard is going to have on lottery sales. I suspect in Delaware and Maryland the number of Pick-3 and Pick-4 winners will be significantly lower than normal.
