Sorry to get in late on this one.

You didn't mention if your friend plays the lottery by him/her self but this reminds me of the people who play in the office pools simply because if the pool hits they want to be a part of it.

I don't mind playing in a pool with friends or co-workers as long as there is trust involved and only for 200mil or higher. Don't want a regular gig going on. Already got a full-time job so don't need another.

Besides I would like share the wealth with friends. A couple of mil is enough for me.

One thing I hate when you play with ''partners is if you hit big on the side with your own ticket in the same game you hear well I trust my friend but he won and I diden't ..There will always be doubt if you win on your own ticket..Just don't let it go that far..Gamble by yourself..Tell you friend you have a rule that you keep gambling personal..

the 1 small issue is this

what happens if the ticket BUYER for your group,or this case your friend buys the tickets,

and he wins, but he says he didnt buy the ticket with the group/your money

so its now hes win

we seen it happen before,

onless your buying the tickets

so you have all the control

or plan b, let him know if he trys any thing sneaky your hunting him down and killing him

I think you just answered your own question here. If you're not sure about anything, by all means, don't do it. Friendships/money = oil/water, they don't mix real well. People get very funny about their money, you would find that out if/when you won a substantial prize together. The tables can turn very quickly from ours to mine . I have been asked by a friend to play in partnership with them, I have no dislike for them; but I just don't know if it will bring me grief later. Is any one doing it? What is your experience? I am trying to make a wise move here.
