Too complicated???

Pay $10 and get 10 chances to be a millionaire.

Join a group and pay $10 and now you have 500 chances to be a millionaire.

Yea, that is too complicated and the extra 490 chances is not worth it.

The time spend joining a group and reading the rules is far less than reading endless posts and far more profitable.

I know it's alot but just think, before I found LP and started reading about lawsuits involving pools, I didn't have any rules at all . People can act funny when it comes to money and I'm not trying to laugh like that.

May have to add your #16 tho.

I didn't have to abide by half as many rules above, when joining the Navy. Are you sure you didn't leave anything out?....lol

16) All these rules apply, except on Wednesdays between 3:00 PM and 9 PM. Unless it's cloudy outside, then it doesn't apply. However, If it's a full moon, then there's an exception to the second rule...

I use a spreadsheet and an email merge program. The email program customizes the emails for each member by including their account balance and number of shares in each group. This information is automatically retrieved from the spreadsheet.

Put your rules in writing and have the pool members sign them. I run a few pools but the rules are pretty much the same for all of them. When I catch up with technoloy, I will scan the tickets into the emails. If you want a copy of the spreadsheet, send me a message.

are you involved with a pool? how do you manage it? i currently use excel sheets, printouts and a copy machine.

is there any software that can manage this? maybe one that sends automated emails ?

if not what are your best tips for play?

any help appreciated
