i don't live in Montana, but consider the Montana Lottery game, 10 Spot. It's basically a Keno game. The top prize is $25,000. That's the biggest ripoff ever.

The same game in New York (Different name, though - Pick 10) has the same odds and offers a top prize of $500,000.

The same game in Ontario (Different name, though - Daily Keno) has the same odds and offers a top prize of $250,000.

Is there something wrong with Montana's 10 Spot game or am I missing something here... [ More ]

California Super Lotto Plus became so unattractive since the introduction of MegaMillions. The rollover amounts are so small that it takes full two months to reach 30 to 40 millions. Now it even rarely happens.

This won't be popular here but I think raffles are a big ripoff and nothing but an appeal to the ego.

The Illinois raffles are a $20 buy in and while guaranteeing 509 winners they are also guaranteeing 499,491 losers but of course don't want the players to know that part.

Come on up folks, I need 500,000 people to give me a $20 bill. 509 of them are going to get something back!

Sweet Millions in New York. When you correctly get 5 out of the 6 winning numbers drawn you only get $500.00 and the odds of matching 5 out of 6 numbers in sweet millions is 1 in 18,816. Compare that to the odds of winning $500 in the pick 3 game which is only 1 in 1,000. In Tennessee the Lottery Director needs to go away.

And she needs to take her freaking computers with her.

I would like to see a 6 number Lotto game started to fill in Monday and Thursday nights but only if we get rid of the stinking computers.
