Thank you for clearer this up for us. Georgia is just gone crazy. Last night some guy in government

want to test people for drugs when they apply for employment and welfare. You would have to pay

for the test. Why would you have to pay when they want it.? People pay into unemployment thay take

that out of your check when you get paid, they're not giving you anything. This world is gone to hell in a handbasket.

I need to move into a treehouse I might get taxes for that to.

I never knew Kentucky Cash 3 paid $600 for a $1 straight, $100 for a 6-way box, and $200 for a 3-way box until I moved here from Ohio. The $600 to $1 is the same payoff the bookies used in the numbers game before pick-3 state lotteries. It makes the math easier because $600 is divisible by 6. Ohio's math for a 6-way box $500/6=$83 is different than Georgia's $500/6=$80.

I just read the article four4me provided that said Georgia state school superintendent Kathy Cox suggested the ticket prices be raised by 50 cents. There was never any doubt in my mind that you were correct in someone had suggested it, but from the way you worded it I just saw were Georgia wants to vote to increase the cost of a ticket to $1.50 , it sounded like it was a proposal by a Georgia legislator. Kentuckey lottery does pay out more $ but they dont break down the payout structue for their p3 game like other states.

Why would I lie about what Ky pays out in thier cash 3?..Say I hit a 472 st/bx I'd get 350.00 and if I hit 122 st/bx I'd get 400.00..Look at the Ky site and they will tell you..I would not lie about a thing like that..I've hit them both and got paid that..

The payouts in Georgia are the same as Maryland pick 3 and many other states some states have parimutuel payouts.

What I have a problem with is the prize money not going up like in some states they get 350.00 on a str bx number

were we get 290.00. The reason most states need more money is because they have paid them self, and it has

Programs in every state need more money the economy is in the pits. There will always be someone wanting to tap into peoples money for the state.

Why not suggest they sell a special scratch off just for education.

Kathy Stone can make all the suggestions she wants but she doesn't work for the lottery. Ultimately it's up to the lottery director and the lottery board members to make changes to a game. I think the governors office is also involved in the decision process. The lottery director or board members won't allow an outsider to influence a standard of practice the payout structure fits the game. To charge more for a lottery ticket is robbery of the people.

I'm always skeptical when someone says I saw where or I heard something was going to change without providing any evidence. The Georgia Lottery was in the news last year because of bonus incentives and it doesn't make sense for people who benefit from lottery sales to come up with an idea that would decrease sales.

Most lotteries have added additional drawings to increase revenues without changing the payoff structure.

Don't go giving Md's politicians any ideas

I just saw were Georgia wants to vote to increase the cost of a ticket to $1.50 for str and str box which means

that a box would cost you .50. The prize money will be the same. I heard some states get paid 350.00

for a str bx we only get 290.00. I might have to get over my habit.
