Here is a link to an Excel file that will calculate the total number of combinations for 2 Pairs and 3 Pairs for a 35 number game

http://www.box.net/shared/yf2mk9c09c

For a 35 number game there are a total of 595 (2) Pairs

So, for example if you use the number 1 you will see that there are a total of 34 possibile pairs.

No, it means that from the original 324.632 combinations, only 5.456 will match the first two balls drawn. The other 319.176 combinations will NOT have the first two balls drawn! That means that 98,32% of the combinations match only 1 or 0. With only 1,68% of all combinations left, your chances have improved quite a lot. It's still only a 1 in 5456 chance though.

Hi,

Does this mean that 5,456 combos will only match 2? The rest of the combos will match 3 or more? I've never played 2if2 wheels, they sound very interesting to use.

Thanks

thank you for your answer Game Belgium but i am still confused. if by formula (Nx N-1.......x N-r+1/r!) there are 595 distinct pairs of 2 within a field of 35 and each group of 5 will produce 10 pairs of 2 you would think that 59.5 groups of 5 should yield all 595 distinct pairs. having played with this assumption the best i could do was 75 groups of 5 (lines?). how did you arrive at 64 lines
