How can I get Excel to stop showing p3 numbers as dates

Highlight the column or columns that the pick - 3 digits are in. Then go to Format , then to cell. click on it. Go to numbers , then go to decimal places and bring it down to 0. then click on ok. That should take care of the problem. If you have pick - 3's that start with 0 and they are not showing , Highlight the columns again, go to format and to cells, then scroll down to Custom in the Type area you will see 0's . Try changing it to text.

When I try to paste the p3 results into excel it displays them as dates.I've tried going under number formatting and changing it to general,but it doesn't work. Please help.
