No offense to anyone but spending $100 on a single draw is dumb. The more money you spend the more terrible you'll feel when none of the tickets win.

IMO playing for fun means spending a buck or two and fantazies about what you'll do with the money when you win. And if you don't win, it's not a big deal because it's only a buck or two.

$100 can buy you way more important things like food or gas.

I can certainly understand your frustration because my chosen numbers, along with QP aren't hitting and the numbers are just C-O-L-D However, it is the nature of the game and you never know what is going to happen--I can only write for myself; I'm going to keep on trucking and keep playing within my budget because I know the minute I stop, my number(s) will hit big!! Bounty, why not just save the money and take your wife/girlfriend out for a nice dinner on the town? The reason I say this is because you're really not applying any system to the game to where you could look back and say, Wow, if I had played those numbers, I would've won!!!!

Playing now would likely result in the same scenario as many times before. It takes a special reserve to gamble knowing you can lose money but, also win lots of it so long as you implement a depenable system of approach... [ More ]

I agree with THRUST, if you are not having fun playing the Lottery, I would stop. There is no use in playing the numbers if you are frustrated about losing all the time.

If it were me, I would take a specific period of time off from playing. I have in the past, taken a couple of months off and then returned to play for minimal bets, just to see how I feel. Maybe you should take a month or so off and see how you feel about it after that.

So i was thinking about placing playing the pick 5 lottery one last time and got to thinking that i should just play 100 sets of numbers lol. I am just curious as to what you all think of this idea as i am not having much fun constantly losing and would like to go out with a bang, win or lose
