Maybe he just wanted to give it all away and know that he made a huge difference in one person's life?

Maybe it became a game for him, to live like a pauper (spchk?) and make more money than he spent?

With a little effort (or a lot depending on who you ask), free money can be found, with a lot of luck you can make it work harder for you than you do for it.

Pretty pointless IMO. When was he planning on using the money he had made?? He doesn't have a family of his own and with the way he lived his life it doesn't seem likely he would have gone out and bought nice things.

What's the point of having all that money and not using it
