That is my sister's birthday, 516, that's Janet Jackson's birthday also.

I know I lost a Franklin on that number, I play it every day. Monday, I played it for her, Midday and Evening, guess what dropped?

461 for the 4th time in the last 2 months, I was heated. lol,

It's just certain numbers, you get stuck on, and they don't seem to drop.

thanks you for posting. and hey im proud of you too. h3ll im proud of anyone who recognizes they are spending too much on the lottery and cut back. its actually hard to do. but in my case it was very easy. what did it for me was i was playing 586 758 875 156 561 exact because at the time i was playing them they never hit exact in nc. well lets just say they all came out in about a months time and they did not come the way i was playing them therefore i won no money. over the months i know invest... d@mn i love 821. but like a few ppl in the nc threads say, if your not hitting, just take a step back and observe for awhile, ya know see wuz going on, figure out where the hits are coming from. lol and as far as that unemployment check goes, been there done that

now u seem like a very smart person by not falling into the trap. i think i could have been a lot better off if i was investing my money into the bigger games such as mm, power ball and cash 5, thanks for the reply and good luck to you.

This is a good post Kobra. Thanks for making it.

Sometimes everyone needs a wake up call.

This stuff is terribly addictive, especially when you start out only playing 2x a week (powerball) and soon realize you feel almost empty without numbers to check so you slowly ease into pick 3 or pick 4 with 2x drawing per day.

I couldnt imagine spending money to hit on each and every draw, but I know that allure is there for some.

Kobra I thank you for posting this advice. I have been playing pick 3 every since it came out. I also started off spending about 5.00 a day now somedays it is out of control. This crap can be addictive. I have also advised family members about playing alot and tell them to stop wasting their money, but you can't tell grown folk anything. wow every thing you said sounds exactly how i use to be. had a darn note book full of work outs and every thing. as far as it affecting a relationship, i can relate to that as well. my girlfriend had a lot of issues with me blowing my money on the lottery. she'd always make her comments about it, and how i was dishing out all of that money and getting nothing in return.

THANK YOU for putting this out here!! I feel the same way and didn't want to post it. My hubby started playing in October 09 just because my uncle said 1966 it's going to hit. Well as time went by my husband was always on the computer looking at numbers and this site and YES at times he was playing $20 each draw which was $40 dollars a day when we have 3 children that I could have spent that money on shoes for my kids or something else. trending numbers bing 6's 8's and 5's ya d@mn skippy i'll put a lil on 586 or any numbers that are trending. but i refuse to play every night/day every draw. only time i play is on gut feelings and trends. antother example being 687 variation has hit all over the country in the past day or two. we've gotten double digit returns on numbers from 2 days ago to yeste...
