If you're referring to losing tickets: I find losing tickets all the time. I just throw them away. On the other hand, I might draw a cartoon or something that illustrates: THE GROUND IS NOT A RECEPTACLE FOR NON-WINNING LOTTERY TICKETS!

LOL - my problem with tickets is different. (Must be the whole south of 8 mile - north of 8 mile thing at work)!

I hate it! I find a certified losing ticket and the minute I pick it up, the numbers change into a winning ticket! That creates a real situation that I am not prepared for. I sneak out of sight and secretly dispose of it

We have serious losing lottery ticket activity here in Mich. I woke up this morning and the little bas####s were trying to get in the back door, I let my yelllow lab Fluffy out to fend them off but, like I said her name is Fluffy. Later , driving to the grocery store I felt I wasn't alone, the radio shut off and losing lottery tickets came filing out of the glove box. I'm exhausted from fighting them off, HELP WE NEED A WINNING LOTTERY TICKET HERE IN MICH. BEFORE WE PERISH.

I probably make $5 for every $100 I spend (and that takes several months except for the recent PB and MM being so big), so I know ALL about losing lottery tickets. I can even count on one hand how many times I've actually gotten the PowerBall in my life.

But I really think it's going to happen sometime soon

i can relate to this statement more than any other one in this whole lottery post. that really hit home sully, i try to throw away my tickets once in a blue moon, but i find that alot of people throw away their scratch off tickets, and they could enter them in a 2nd chance drawing, one mans trash could be one mans treasure.

Does the date on the losing ticket matters? In Ohio, if it's over six months old it's s loser even with a winning combination.

I think the poster realized the question did not make sense.

If they meant found a winning ticket...THEN what would you do?

I'd have to keep it because if you turned it in at the store, you know darn well they w/couldn't put the APB out for the real owner.

They'd pocket it.

I find lots of losing tickets, they are usually in my purse , my husband finds them in his wallet. I think they are really aliens from another planet and they are trying to take over the world. In fact i've been seeing more and more people laying on the ground with losing tickets stuck to their faces, they wake up later and more losing tickets come bursting out of their chests. I ignore them because personally I don't need the headache either.

ummm not sure I understand your question - if it was a losing ticket why bother to make any fuss at all - just toss it in the trash. If you mean a winning ticket - well that's a whole other story .... and one I probably would not tell to anyone until after I'd collected it
