I've had some version of this program since I converted it from Commode64 Basic to Radio Shack Tandy version of BASIC over 15 years ago to run on my Tandy 1000. Over the years it changed as I changed computers to GWBasic. All those versions of BASIC were very similar so the changes were easy.

I used GWBasic which is an old DOS program whose time has run out now that Vista and Window7 are becoming the standard OS. I'm still using my older XP computer, I haven't down loaded a program 'XP mode' for my newer laptop which allows Window7 to run DOS programs that ran under XP.

That's cool. I started to look into programming in hopes that I'll be able to write a lotto program. I didn't get very far though. Lol.

I use software that I manually wrote to do it automatically, but I can only search the files that I have accumulated manually over the years or use a format that allow them to be transported into my program.

Just looking at the last 500 drawings of West Virgina Cash25, I found nine repeats.

If you check PowerBall records going back to 04/22/92, you would find it happened once and came close to happening another times.

If you are talking about pick5 and jackpot games in general then it usually happens after they've had as many drawings the equal of 0.5% (half of 1%) of their possible combinations. One of the games I play Ohio Rolling Cash5 (5/39) with 1911 drawings since it started has done this several times.

I have researched drawing histories has there ever been any repeat hits with 4,5 or Jackpot combo's ever? if so what where they and when
