I was thinking about this the other day. obviously im going to tell my intermediate fam, but everyone has to have that part of the family that they dont get along with, i know they would start calling asking me how i was doing, so i'd probably just move, and take care of the people that were always true to me.

not just that but Many people see those ping pong balls colliding GOING AT FULL SPEED..And they say...There is no way IN THE WORLD you could crack it, win it..And is worse if you tell them is Powerball...lol...if you tell them is Pick3 or Pick4 there is a chance they MIGHT believe you...Yeah you can tell them you won Pick3/Pick4 but crack it...lol..Again they MIGHT believe you for pick3 and pick4...

Been there, done that. I learned the hard way 4 years ago. I responded to a thread of hers and wrote Janet, instaed of Tenaj. She was pissed.

Six days later, I got a knock on the door. There were 5 guys making believe they were from the Jehova's witness protection program. I didn't fall for it, but it was too late. I got my behind whipped.

My dad is 81, and he would love to know, but he'd only blow most of the money on strip clubs. I'd tell him anyways cause it's his money and he can do whatever he wants to.

My older sister would hurt herself If I told her. She loves food too much and always wanted to do Pole Vaulting. I have to think about that one.

I would consult with an attorney anonymously first. Go over the facts and what I truly want to do with this money (my objectives). Ideally, I would like to not tell anyone, not because I don't want to share, I just don't want too many people to know.

It would be almost impossible to keep it a secret even if I wanted to. With this kind of money, word gets around pretty quickly. I think it would be wiser to inform your family, at least for the purposes of keeping them safe. But aside from that, it just sounds wrong to keep such things from your family.

I don't have to worry about the parents, they have passed on years ago. I have my 20 something daughter in California and my 7 yr old son, so it's needless to say that they will both be taken care of for the rest of their lives. It would have to depend on the size of the jackpot, and if the lottery is one you can remain anonymous. The state lotteries in MI are really not all that large, and you can remain anonymous... which I would even in regards to family.

No, I wouldn't hide it, but at the same time I wouldn't announce it to the world. Pennsylvania does not allow winners to be anonymous. I know some people are afraid to say no, but not me, I know a few people who won hundreds of thousands of dollars and I wouldn't have the nuts to ask someone for some of their winnings like I was entitled to it.

I am not one of the lucky people who could win a lotto and NOT have to worry about family members. So as I've said before, No one except my husband will know. They don't know that I play so there's no fear of lawsuit and such.

I actullay thought about this before, I think the only people i would tell would be my mom and dad. I have 2 brothers and one sister and if i told any of them the news would be all over town that day. My parents would respect my wish to keep a low profile.
