What do you guys think of the Minnesota "Music" Lottery

When I read your title, I was a little confused. I thought Minnesota was starting a lottery game where instead of drawing a number, you have to guess the song they are going to play (from, say, 100 choices) and then they play a song, and if you get it right you win $50.

i was watching the price is right and it gave me an idea...How about a plane tickets or vacation cruise tickets lotto where you win a plane ticket or a cruise ticket to a foreign country (round trip)...

but tell them to create something more exciting also like board games like a lotto or card games like a lotto [not a lotto board games, i meant board games like a lotto having many choices].....i bet people get tired of the lotto....not everyone likes numbers or math....

is a great idea...But they should give you money redeemable with the ticket that way you can really enjoy a concert...They should give movie theaters tickets with that too....The more: Packed/crowded a movie theater the more exciting...

Wouldn't that jack up the legal age for playing the lotto to 21? Not that I care, I'm 24 - just curious. Then again, in Louisiana and Arizona you have to be 21 to play the lottery.

These lottery promos with professional sports teams, especially baseball, have always made me wonder how Pete Rose feels when he's watching a game and sees a casino or lottery advertised. Most stadiums do it. Not to mention game tickets or jerseys, as rdgrnr mentioned, being a scratcher prize.

Just something to think about.

Tennessee has had stupid sports tickets and sports paraphernalia like that on scratchers. Ooooooh, look everybody! I won a Tennessee Titans Tote Bag!!!!

I say stick with cash unless its for guns or whiskey - I might consider that. In fact, I kinda like that idea.

My fellow Tennesseans: Please call your Congressman and urge him to push for scratchers with guns and whiskey as the prizes.

I'm wondering of the Minnesota prizes aren't from scratchers, sounds like it.

Tiggs, remember on The Lottery Changed My Life, the guy in Boston who won Red Sox season tickets for life?

Illiois has had a scratcher promotion for going on a road trip with the Blackhawks hockey team, and Missouri has scratchers that have Cardinals and Royals tickets.

But yeah, I'd rather have cash.

I have a few friends from Minnesota, that told me they now have a music lottery, where you can win music downloads, concert tickets and money. I thought this is pretty amazing to see something different. It's called Cash Concerts.

Anyone have any first hand info on this, I'd like to hear more.

What do you think of this
