some months ago there was a story here in LP of a Chinese to Taiwanese guy who his dog PICKED THE WINNING NUMBERS...

is never bad to be superstitious....

Whether you admit it or not, when you are dealing with the scary odds that are against you in the lottery, everyone has got to be on some level superstitious. Besides, buying the lottery, everything else is out of your hands. THere's got to be a charm, a ritual, or signs to look for to bring luck our way. I am generally not superstitious (as in stepping on cracks, breaking mirrors, black cats, etc), but when I dream about numbers, I take it as a sign!

The superstition about walking under ladders probably comes from actually walking under ladders and risk getting a paint bucket which hangs on the ladder on your head.

I don't believe walking under a ladder is bad luck but I think if you believe it is, it can be in your own mind. You'll start attributing every unfortunate incident to it and perpetuate your belief in it.

Favorite # is 13, Friday the 13th is my Lucky Day, Broke many mirror's, nothing ever happened. Walked under Ladders, nothing ever happened. No Lucky Charms, I love Apples, but still need to go to the Doctor at times. Black Cats are Cool. I've found many 4 leaf clovers but never had any real good luck.
