Sorry to bug. I been trying to rate some post. When I saw that it was not what I wanted to give as a rating. I tried to correct it by rating again. Is it my computer or once I post a rating it is done.

Feeling bad because it was not what I wanted on two post that I did. Never been part of any post website, so everything is new to me. Looked for an answer before asking.

You would click Search Drawings on the left side of any page. But to use it, you need to upgrade to Platinum first. CLick Premium Memberships on the left to check that out.

LP's Lottery Results Search Engine is the most powerful results search engine you'll find. Finding the quads is easy stuff with it.

Hey Todd - Thanks for this thread. You'd think after being on this forum for a while, I'd know all the rules and regs! I was recently approached by a new member asking for information. Had I not read this thread, I may have at least tried to provide the info, and both our accounts would have been gone!! Instead I directed the new member to read throught this thread for an explanation why I couldn't give the info requested.

For the second part of your message (about looking for numbers), that would be off-topic in this thread, and the people who you WANT to see your request will not be looking for it here. Best to post a request like that in the forum that is most suitable (for example, the Pick 3 forum).

In fact, I would strongly recommend checking out the many hundreds/thousands of number posts over there for today before even asking. You may be able to ask more pointed

How about saying how great the system is at catching links, and how wonderful it is to be on a forum that values the ability to interact with each other without wading hip-deep in endless spam, like all the other lottery sites out there? Clicking on the image is not a problem for anyone. In fact, including the image itself in a message is no problem for anyone, including new members.

Including the link that you have wrapped around the image is what will trigger the system. Take the link away, and it's fine.

That's why the Unlink button is on the toolbar. It removes the link from whatever is highlighted in the editor.

I would rather not have new members dissect their flagged messages on the public forums.

Your message was flagged because you were sent a link, and you replied to it. This is exactly what I said would happen here. I am dumbfounded by the constant act of surprise when this happens.

The link was at the bottom of the message. Apparently Harve$t Moon copied and pasted an image from Google's image cache, and the image contained a link around it. You then replied to it and got flagged.

What is interesting is that I did not send any of those things to press on for any type of connecting function to this member. He told me that just using a particular word in a sentence caused him problems, when he attempted to reply to me. He got a warning from a purely innocent communication exchange explaining the rules. I suggested that he contact the Admin using the Contact Us feature. Sorry about that, Reggie Numbers!

I asked the question will I get kicked out the system if I replied to a platinum members message with a link or email address in it? But I have actually asked someone to send me their email address not knowing the seriousness of it all. I do know that someones computer may be infected with a virus that can be emailed to you, but that's why it's important to have anti-virus software.

It is completely up to you if you want to e-mail someone. Just keep in mind that you are giving your private e-mail address to anyone you send e-mail to, so if you don't know them well, you may want to proceed with caution (if at all).

The whole point is that spammer can't send people their e-mail address. The system has no way of knowing if you're a good guy or a spammer, right? So if the system allowed new members to send their own e-mail addresses, there would be no spam protection.

No links or e-mail addresses, including your own e-mail address, are allowed to be posted on the forums or blogs, or sent via PM, by new members.

@vonvon123: If you're not sure whether or not replying to a PM will cause a problem, after you click Reply , first delete all the text in the editor and then type your response. That will ensure the only thing you're sending is the text you're typing. Of course, you don't have to worry about any of this stuff once you get promoted by the system.

Answering in the forums like we are doing is fine. When you get a Private Message (PM) then you can read it and answer it, BUT if it has any kind of link or an email address : joeblow@aol.com , then delete those from your reply or YOU will loose your account. I will send you a PM (without any links). You will see the Private Inbox near the top of your screen turn red. Click on it, then click on my message to read it.

Just to be clear, if your name has New Member under it on the forums or in your Profile page, then you're a new member. If it says anything else (like Rookie, Regular, etc.), then you're NOT a New Member, and the link/e-mail stuff doesn't apply to you.

As a reminder, please don't do that. The system will automatically suspend your account if you do.

Also, members who have been here for a while, don't ask new members to send their e-mail address to you.
