Anybody that knows anything about tracking numbers can observe they are using the same ball sets from draw to draw almost.... the last few day now.... that is either due to laziness or by chance.

Do you have any knowledge as to what goes into just one lottery drawing. What do they do from the time they enter the building to the time the midday drawing takes place.

I do and it's the same process everyday of the week.

If i were a lottery official i would divulge that info...... no i am not but i am a machinist and have worked with the people that make the balls and machines once we even had a lottery representative/terminal repair man work evenings on my shift. Fine....they don't have the capacity to quickly load the results....that's OK......I don't mind finding out what they were later. Nobody saying that at all Texas puts up the pretest draws for their games but other states don't there is a lot more to a drawing than throwing balls into a machine. About 3 hours of work goes into each drawing midday and evening. 6 hrs total. If the pre-tests are a result of the corruption in PA years ago, wouldn't it better to have transparency in the process now?

It's just illegal to fund a gambling account from a US bank. There are ways around it. I have been doing it since about 1989. I haven't had anyone banging on my door telling me to stop. And I will continue to do so until the FEDs show up on my door step telling me to knock it off. I have been playing international lotteries for just as long too. I have never had any problems collecting my money that I have won.

Everything that is done every day in the secure lottery ball room is just like they do when someone is going to be operated on. Pretesting balls has nothing to do with the outcome.... are players thinking they use the same balls every day or from draw to draw. think again because the balls are different sets. They don't use the same set of balls for every drawing.... a player has no way of knowing what ball sets are being uses so tracking numbers is about the only way to derive what number will... Good point BE. Throw that into the mix along with the Report Card grades in state competition online and we could see some big changes.

My only concern is that greedy politicians could enact preemptive legislation of some sort to circumvent anything that would empower players or enhance their ability to affect change in the whole system and/or elicit serious consideration of players' issues.

Pre tests are a part of the security function of the game to makes sure no tampering of the balls has been done. It's not so much a big deal about the machines malfunctioning. Pre tests are audited for security purposes.

Once Congressman Robert Wexler resigned the big push behind the gambling bill evaporated in my opinion. I doubt we will get the freedom to spend our own money as we see fit. The way things are there will likely be some nasty trick in the bill that includes all sorts of privacy violations so taxes can be collected at both ends. Fair chance only tax paying U.S. casinos will be allowed and lottery excluded at the request of state governments.

I will play only the states graded as A+ on the Lottery Post State Lottery Report Card.

I won't even play PB or MM in a state that uses computers for other games and that includes my own state.

Because competition always improves everything.

There's no need to strive for excellence if you're the only game in town and you've got a captive audience.

If everybody starts playing the states with the real ball drawings, we will see computers disappear in short order.

It's nice to have some form of leverage over politicians because they really don't care what we want unless it starts costing them money.
