I will say that observation from past drawings combined with a good wheel (and a good will, ha!) are one of the best strategies to win. At least you know that you are working for it and not leaving everything up to random.

And when you win a prize, even if it is a small one, oh boy that gives you satisfaction

Thank you. The links you supplied were very informative.

Now that I understand what wheels are, all I gotta do is pick 6 or 7 numbers, load 'em into LP's Full Wheel for tonite's NY Take5 and I'll be all set! Only thing is, I never pick the correct 6 or 7 numbers to load into the wheel.

There are two steps to Wheeling:

1. Choose a set of Numbers that you want to Wheel.

2. Arrange your numbers into Combinations.

When you Wheel a set of Lottery Numbers, you place them into Combinations: You are arranging Your Numbers in a Planned Organized Way: Not in Random Groups!

Wheeling for a pick5 game is the process of trying to cover the possible combinations of 2-5 that are in a group of numbers larger than 5 to guarantee a hit if the winning combination has 2-5 of those numbers. If you only have 5 numbers then you don't need to wheel them.

because if you only wheel 5 numbers there will only be one combination generated.

I had previously seen the page for the link you supplied. The thing that confused me when I read it is why do I have to input a 6th number? I play a pick 5 game, so why the 6th number to create the wheel

I'm relatively new to playing NY's Take5 regularly. Does anyone here use a wheel to choose numbers?

I'm such anewbie, that I have no idea how wheels work....
