Personally i do not see an issue here on the threads, the main topic of the threads get hashed out pretty darn good. Ya they get off-topic at times but it's all in good fun. If someone gets slammed in the topic they proubly deserved it.

I was a supervisor of 15 production workers for approx 15 years, when we got off-topic for a few it broke up the monotony and we broke production records in a good way.

Maybe, just Maybe getting off-topic for a few will bring new ideas... [ More ]

for some people who are weaker, and easily influenced, that can be a problema. so yes / on a majority-technicallity basis.

not me though. no matter who i am around, i can still keep my standards .

missed out on only going to just one waffle house for the relationship aspect . that would have been good

i love studying people, so put me in any spot that makes that possible, like an airport, san francisco, places like that. the more diverse, the better.

waffle house was just a smaller version of that.

you do have to sit thru juke box dysmorphia though, when maybe mel tillis singing drunk isn't quite your thang

i always tipped large there.

Yeah, the one here only has a couple drawbacks. I have to bring my own butter cuz they don't know there's a difference between butter and that slime they call spread . I've tried on a number of occasions to educate them on the difference but I couldn't get through. But 'spread' is butter darlin! Oh, ok, thank you, that'll be all.

The other thing is the decibel level when they slam the dishes into the sink. I try to sit far away from that.

you can call it blind luck all you want, but true facts remain, people win jackpot games something like 70% (+/-) of the time, compared to people who choose their numbers. why? because it's a random game

I love the grease. It's a pretty good hike for me though, so sometimes when I get a craving I just heat up some lard and drink it. You never know if the one near me is going to be open anyway. I don't remember ever reading the rules here. I guess I go by a certain rule of thumb . Wish I could remember who the author of this little diddy was. I goes like this:

Here in a nutshell is what is being perfectly illustrated in both threads:

I think we'd have to define lottery related but if we got too strict we'd lose a lot of humor and the fun factor .

Granted the prayer thread went off on many rabbit trails, but I voted Maybe in this poll.

I rather enjoy the ocassional outburst between two or more members from time to time. There was a period when every one was being civil and courteous. What a boring time that was.

Also, throwing derogatory remarks at a poster is one method to force that party to divulge more information about how they pick their numbers. Nothing like forcing your opponent into thinking he must provide detailed analysis of his system to prove his point and convince others he knows that he is talking about.

I say let it flow. If you don't like it, change the channel, skip past the BS if you don't like it.

I tend to give a short story as to why I pick some numbers, and they do come out. I add humor, and have never had a complaint, I know when to stop.

Absolutely, after all this is a Lottery site (LOL). Politics, religion and anything else should be taken up at the appropriate time and at the appropriate place, church on Sunday and Tuesdays in November (smile).

The more we concentrate on the numbers the better off we will be at hitting the numbers, just my opinion on this.
