Good for you--I will check my e-mail also, but I entered last week the code coupons from my dad and we weren't a winner--oh well, tomorrow's another day/week--anyway I entered (six) codes for next week-GOOD LUCK TO YOU AS WELL

That's the deadline for the first drawing, but I didn't see anything on the website saying you have to enter the code the same week you get it. All I saw is that once you enter a code it's only good for one drawing.

I got a bonus ticket on Saturday. I can enter it this week, next week, the week after...whenever. Just once I enter it, it's only good for one drawing.

Blah. Called CA-L today spoke to a rep, told them I submitted my serial numbers first thing Friday morning and was told that the codes would be sent by Saturday... Of course Sat rolls around - nothing. I checked Spam folders, etc...

Called them again this morning (Monday), and was told it could take 3 to 4 business days to get the codes :).

I'll keep you up to date :).

Hi Eterion: I also received a return call from the CA Lottery and they left a message; I logged in my code from 7/5/10 and checked my e-mail and so far I RECEIVED NO CODE

TO ENTER!!! However, my dad received (finally) the coupons which I entered the F5 BB Codes--I am determined to win this--let me know when you receive your 7/5/10 code via e-mail--isn't this a lot of fun??? Good Luck to you

Yeah, I just entered my July 5 serial #s. Site said we will send it to you - - meaning codes to enter. Nothing yet, been checking my email. 11:59 tonight is the deadline I believe for this weeks entries.

Seriously this incident is pure fail lol. I was instructed to enter the serial numbers on my tickets onto their website Friday morning (which I did), and was told the codes would be mailed to me... come Saturday and I still don't see anything. Figures, rely on the State of California to get something right and they always find a way to mess it up. haha

Okay UPDATE #2 :

A rep from CA Lottery called me today (gosh I was hoping it was something else... haha, but knew it was a callback due to the 7/5 Bonus Bucks glitch).

Anyway she advised to hold onto the F5 tickets as there will a option on the website this Friday to enter the serial numbers on your ticket to generate a entry.

Ok, I just posted my code on the website for the coupon I got with todays ticket. The directions there says 'If you purchased on the 5th and didn't get a coupon with the code to enter on the website THEN hang onto your tickets and check the website by the end of the week for instructions on how to enter the contest with July 5th tickets without coupons'.

So there you have it. Guess you are all busy on the website right now.

Why don't you file complaint with Federal Trade Comission for false and misleading advertisement. That will really get Califonia Lottery Commission attention.

Hey! So I called the hotline this morning and spoke to a Johnny, who also took my name and number and said he would send my info up to his supervisor. He confirmed that none of the Bonus Bucks codes printed Monday for anyone. I'm looking at my F5 coupon and other than a few numbers at the bottom that look pretty much identical to other F5 tickets... not sure how they would validate if we actually bought tickets unless we're expected to mail them in.

I just called the CA Lottery Hot Line number and based on the waiting time, they must have a high volume of calls regarding the disaster with the F5 Bonus Buck Coupon; Anyway, I spoke with Martina who took my name and number to call back to follow-up why I didn't receive my coupon-obviously she knew because I said I didn't receive my code coupon-7/5/10 and she said they are working on why they did not print out accordingly; did you speak to anyone there yet?? 7/5/10 (today) is considered a holiday for state workers (this includes CA-L officials/reps) and thus the help line was not staffed today.

I'll give them a call - its likely (and hopefully), we aren't the only two people who decided to try a promo on it's first day - so its possible they'll know of the situation when I call tomorrow. However, if you get to them before me, posting here the result of your chat would be much helpful =P.

I'm not really optimistic as to how CA-L intends to explain or even resolve this issue... I mean on one hand, I can understand if they're reluctant to issue the codes over the phone for player... [ More ]

Thank you so much Eterion for replying back so soon; I am glad you decided to try the self kiosks @ CVS as well to see if it would generate a code coupon and obviously it didn't work as well. Ugh Yes. I actually registered on this site because I did a Google search to see if other players ran into the same issue.

I get my F5 tickets at a liquor store near my house and although the owner is friendly, he does carry that shady type of attitude. Well, I went out and bought the $5.00 - Fantasy 5 this morning to receive my bonus buck code and did not receive the printed entry code--leave it to the CA Lottery to screw it up and also start the game on weird holiday--7/5/10 because I cannot contact the office to verify what is going on until 7/6/10; also I asked twice about it and two times they--lottery clerk said there wasn't a code coupon printed out when I purchased $5.00 Fantasy 5. Just an friendly reminder that on 7/5/10; CA Lottery will officially start the Fantasy 5 Bonus Bucks; buy $5.00 Fantasy 5 to receive a coupon code to enter drawing; i.e.(3) winners of $10,000 and (12) winners of $1,000. The only draw back is there is no mail-in coupons, codes are entered via website, which means you will need to keep it in order to verify if your coupon is a winner.
