He is charging an access fee for most of his software now, but 2 of his programs are still free - ToolsLotto6 (for Pick 6 draw analysis) and ToolsLotto5 (for Pick 5 draw analysis) - download links are on those pages but buried a bit towards the bottom. I use ToolsLotto6 a fair bit for the frequency/skip charts as it generates a text file that can be fairly easily parsed by custom Perl scripts

Saliu once made a few posts at LP. I remember when all his stuff was free but the last time I checked he had started charging for it. I guess he found out the best way to make money off the lotteries is to sell lottery software.

Determining number of draws to analyze to get useful frequency data is one of the elements of lottery play I've found most challenging.

I've been away from here for a while, so I'm not sure if this is a taboo subject as he can be quite controversial at times, but I've found Ion Saliu's Fundamental Formula of Gambling (FFG) to be pretty accurate for determining the number of previous draws in which the numbers that appear in the next draw for a given Degree of Certainty appear (in a nutshell).... [ More ]

An interesting observation. I tried to duplicate with Ohio Rolling Cash5 and only got a couple of 4/5 and a few 3/5. Tried different amount of draws and didn't do any better, numbers were all over the place.

Actually, that wasn't a print out but a copy of the page, it's an old DOS program written in Basic. It does high lite the last five winning numbers and as you said they are all over the place for Rolling Cash5. Thrust must have tracked a game that acted much differently.

On my excel files i did that for the longest time hoping to trap the cold numbers in a wheel i made but as usual the cold numbers came out with the hot numbers many times. It was a year long battle that cost me plenty but i did manage a 150 dollar win on mega millions doing it.

I suggest you hold on to the printouts and draw a circle around each winning number, then over time you'll see where your winning numbers come from.

If you have the GH software you can go back 100 draws and using the past 100 draws prior as history, chew your way through back up to now. I suspect you'll find the top 14 numbers aren't as predictive as you think, if they were lottery players would be all over it.

BobP

Expected frequency is 15 times. Most 28(26 Times) Least 32(7 Times)

Like today 05-11-14-20-24 came up...all in the least frequent 14. So is doesn't work all the time.

Like I said I always use the most frequent 14 out of 100 draws...but 100 draws may be too much...someone... [ More ]

How did you decide which numbers to use when numbers that had hit fourteen times covered the 12th to the 19th most popular numbers? Did you use the three lowest or the three highest numbers of the group to make up your group of fourteen? That situation happened many times when I compared the past 100 drawings in Ohio Rolling Cash5.

I have seen many 4/5 and even 5/5 hits using 14 most frequent in 100 draws...when I brought this up before people said you don't need to go by so many as 100 draws...I looked into 12 draws but it doesn't seem the best maybe 20 draws???

I need some insight into this.

By the way this is concerning Cash 5...but seen the same with Win For Life.
